Newest RealGM Mock Draft perfect for the Wolves?

REALGM MOCK DRAFT
#3 - OJ Mayo - SG
#31 - Alexis Ajinca - C
#34 - Bill Walker - SF
We get the dynamic SG, a recently turned 20 year old 7'1" center who can block shots and has some offensive range, as well as probably the biggest steal of the draft at SF.
C - Jefferson/Ajinca
PF - Gomes/Madsen
SF - Brewer/Walker
SG - Mayo/McCants
PG - Foye/Jaric
Expirings, future picks, or MLE for another veteran center and we're looking good.
Now we just need to send the link to McHale and tell him to make it happen.

I dont see Walker making it past the mid-20 range. He is not a 2nd round pick IMO.
Mayo/Hardin/Anderson is still my ideal draft, at least if we keep both 2nd round picks, which i doubt.

mock drafts in the second round rarely select the right draft pick. If I counted right, realgm only predicted 2 choices correctly in the second round last season. It really just gives an idea of player rankings and team needs more than an accurate prediction.
I agree with the Mayo pick though. He is the BPA available and he has such a high ceiling. As for second round picks, a center is needed badly. I think the other pick should be devote to the BPA. It really just depends on our #3 though

Ajilca would be a nice pickup, but from what I've read he would be staying in europe for a little while.

I like the idea of that, maybe we can sign an extra FA

Would you start Bill Walker over Corey? Move Gomes to SF if we get a C with one of our second round picks?

No, we start Gomes over both of them.

Yeah, no kidding.
Lopez at #3...bad. I don't care how much of a need he is for this team. If we want him that badly, a trade down is absolutely necessary.
Regarding the RealGM mock draft, that looks pretty darn good. A little too good, that is. I highly doubt Walker will fall that far. Let's not forget that this is basically just another fan writing this thing. Meaning his opinion doesn't really matter all that much. I trust Chad Ford and draftexpress.com, and that's pretty much it.

Like Frozen, I am also big on Asik and Pekovic (probably in that order), but Ajinca is quite interesting as well. I think any of the above would likely stay overseas, though Ajinca would probably be most likely of the three to come over next year if one did.
As for the picks, have to like them alot. Walker would be major value though I would be suprised to see him in the second round. With the euro prospect probably not coming over this season; I would probably want to draft another big from college that would be able to make the roster and contribute in the immediate time unless we were able to sign a serviceable big man in free agency. Not sure on who the prospect could be though. I am just hoping we can move Al to the 4.

One bad note on the Mock as a whole. No DJ White? Isn't this the guy who is rumored to have a promise from the Pistons in the 1st and he isn't on the board at all?

This makes sense for the Wolves because they have openly stated that they would like to use one of the 2nd round picks on a European and let him stay in Europe for a year or 2.

If the draft unfolds this way, NBA scouts around the league should be fired en masse
Westbrook 6th, Love 15th, Robin Lopez ahead of McGee, Koufos and Hibbert, Forbes 47th despite his camp domination

Yeah, pretty good mock, but some glaring slides/reaches (but I guess the draft usually turns out like that, doesn't it?).
I LOVE Mayo at 3 obviously.
Westbrook@6 too high
Galinari slides to 12th
Love slides to 15th (I think he's pretty much assured top 10 now).
Bill Walker should go 1st round (New Orleans?) and hopefully push an American big to 31.
Davon Jefferson could slide out of the draft after his horrible combine.
DJ Augustin measured short and I think he slides to Indiana at 11.
Ideally I want and American big to slip to 31 (Hardin or Jason Thompson please) and draft a euro big to keep there a year or two at 34. Ajinca, Peckovic, and Aski (who has 2 years on his euro contract) fit the bill there.
If we can't get a big man who can play this year It's kind of hard to draft a euro and wait for him because it leaves a big hole. Jawai would be interesting too.
Ryan Anderson at 31 or 34 would be a steal too, he can shoot the lights out.
