Exciting time for Gopher FB? If you like winless seasons, I guess.

They did just have a top 20 recruiting class, of course that was before they found out one of their top recruits had a heart defect.

The Timberwolves lost 80 games, been out of the playoffs for 5 years and you've posted 7,000+ times. So your a bit of a flip flop.

Because a team is not successful doesn't mean that we shouldn't be excited. Case of point is the Wolves who were awful, but I assume you are still excited for them. No?

Yes, but I'm a Badgers fan. It's natural for me to point out that Gopher football has a dim, dim future.

I love Gopher football and hoops. I think football's on the right track and obviously basketball is.

I like what I've seen so far from Brewster as far as recruiting but he still could do a better job of keeping the top players in state (Floyd, Mobley). It will be interesting to see if he can keep that OT from CDH in MN.

I see the gophers taking the axe back home in three or so years if this kind of recruiting keeps up.....because remember, where do all good bucky stars come from? Thats right, Minnesota, so with brewster keeping them in state or atleast out of wiscy, the badgers will switch positions with us in a few years.......
Smily = us, vader = Bucky

Except how many of the top recruits in the state stayed this year? One, and he just had open heart surgery. Brewster couldn't even get his own son to go to the U.

How inorant you are....why would his son want to be a backup his whole college career......its just like if i said "Ha you couldn't get Kim Royston to stay a badger" its the same.....why does it matter? they both are mediocre players and wouldn't start on their current teams so they transferred.....

I mean his younger son, the one who's going to Texas. He wouldn't be a backup on the Gophers.

As true as that is......minnesota isn't a huge football program, and if Coach was thinking whats best as a father, hed tell him to go to Usc, Texas, Oklahoma, ETC......not minnesota.....and definetely not wisonsin
