Out of the press today a rumor that the timberwolves apparently are not commenting on. We trade the #3 for adam morrison and the #9 pick of the Bobcats.

Coming off a torn ACL and a less-than-stellar rookie season? We would defintely have to receive more than Morrison for that kind of deal to go down.
We would need a guarantee Lopez would fall down to #9 anyway

ahhh... by far the worst offer for the #3 pick so far. An un-athletic sg who is coming off of a season ending injury is not worth trading down 6 picks.

I would be amazed, and I mean seriously amazed, if the Wolves would even contemplate a deal like this.

There is no way, NO way, Ammo is worth moving down 6 spots in the draft. I dont see anyone on the 'Cats roster short of Okafor that could be worth facilitating a deal either. I dont think the FO is looking for future picks as much as it is looking for younger "stud" players. We hope to be contending in 2-3 years anyway.

The value's not there. I don't see the Bobcats wanting to move up, anyway. Larry Brown? Rookie? yeah. They're more likely to trade that pick for a vet again than trade to move up.
