Texas A&M center DeAndre Jordan has seen a steady decline in recent mock drafts and one NBA general manager believes that he could fall out of the first round, according to a report in The News-Herald.

Wow... I remember back when he was a potential top-3 pick. How sweet would it be to nab him at #31?

lol, even then, if someone else slips I might not take him.

Say Alexis Ajinca, I like him better than Jordan. Jordan at 31 would be pretty sweet, though. With any luck falling that far would give him a chip on his shoulder and make him work.

You're right that there could be better suitors at #31. I never understood the infatuation with D. Jordan. He was always just potential based solely on his extreme size and athleticism in my eyes. He is still intriguing, though.

Regardless, I don't see him dropping to the 2nd round. But stranger things have happened..

Who is the big Jordan supporter in the Wolve's forum?

He really had a sub-par second half of the season. He should really have another year of school to improve his standing.

Alexis Ajinca will be long gone by 31

Dunkonu21 (sp?) is the only one that comes to mind.

I'll take him at #31. If he slips that far, most likely the other bigs are all gone (Ibaka, Hibbert, R. Lopez, McGee, Koufos, Hickson...) I think I'd take DAJ over Anderson, Thompson, Hardin, Pekovic, Tomik, Jawai, Asik... Why not gamble at 31 on the guy with the most upside, even if he's a huge risk?

If he falls to the mid 20's I would be pleasantly surprised and hope that McHale could facilitate a deal to move up. I wouldnt really want to give up too much though, neither Bos/Mia pick and I would want to keep one 2nd rnder.

On second thought, just stand pat and grab Hardin with #31/34

Exactly. Second round contracts are unguaranteed anyways.

I am all for using 1 of the 2nd rd picks on a complete potential risk.

You know if we can get Jordan in any form I'll be happy with the draft.
