I'm up early so I can get ready to workout but someone pointed out DeAndre to me and we talked about this kid, he has some potential man!
Look at DeAndre here..
He runs the floor like Kevin Garnett I just noticed that wow..

Pause this video at 2 secs... He looks like a 7' Rudy Gay

Dwight Howard???

If we land Mayo, we have to trade into the 19-25 ish range and take him, it's a dynasty team on the rise!
Foye(Billups),Mayo(Joe Johnson),Brewer(Pippen?),Jefferson(Brand),Jordan(Bynum)???

We would get an A++++ rating and the potential match-ups with other teams would be very interesting too..
Mayo/Jordan(Texas A & M)/Jefferson vs
Roy/Aldridge(Texas)/Oden
Wade/Beasley/Marion
Kobe/Bynum/Gasol

There are too many match-ups to name but this would become a team that many people would start to keep thier eye on in the near future as far as being on the rise,a young, fun, atheletic, swagger type of team.

DeAndre has to become a Timberwolve, I can't name 3 7' (Afican Americans no being racist) who have this type of size and potential that haven't worked out, hell look at bynum, he had some good scoring games this year and he didn't even go to college... Mayo & Jordan would be the best thing to ever happen to this franchise since Sam & Spree..

I have posted a very similar post on the seattle forum.espn.com has jordan going to memphis at 28.His upside is worth a risk with a late 20's pick.

If we have a choice, I'd prefer to trade up to take Ajinca. It appears he'll be taken much sooner though. I'd be cool with giving Jordan a shot but I wouldn't be sad if we landed someone like Hardin in the 2nd.

ESPN's latest mock has us take Mayo @3, Hardin @31 and Jawai @34. I'd be pretty happy with that outcome.

Oh how the Mighty have fallen. Months ago we were all willing to take a chance on this guy. Now? Not so much.

He is the defensive presence that we need. All he can do is run the floor, dunk, rebound, and block shots. That is just what we need. He has no offensive skills, but with Jefferson on the low block he wouldn't get touches anyways. I remember we all wished we had a much younger Theo Ratliff, and I could see DeAndre developing into that role. I'd package both 2nd rounders, maybe McCants and a second, to get him. When Ford's lottery game came out, Jordan was our pick at #3, it's amazing how much things ahave changed.

I still don't like him. He is a player that could have used all 4 years of college. I am not sold he will make it in the NBA. I watched some of his games last year, he will make his NBA coach go bald, the kid is totally lost on the court.

I think DeAndre is a steal anywhere after 20. Sure, he's not polished, but he's got more athleticism than any of the other big men. After taking Mayo at 3, the Wolves can take a risk like DAJ.

It looks like DeAndre is the center version of Gerald Green. Potential this, athletic that..... will he ever be able to actually play?

That reminds me of when the Lakers took Bynum over Sean May a few years back.... And about the A & M thing, stick Bynum in Jordan's situation last year while Bynum was coming out of highschool(very raw just like Jordan) and see would he be able to average the 8pts 6rbs in 20mins like Jordan did. I think a lot of you were expecting him to come into college and be a stud right away, it usually takes some learning for a guy at that height and that much athleticism to get his game right.

Bynum's 2nd year in the NBA he averaged 7.8pts 5.8rbs in 22mins
Jordan's 1 year in college 7.9pts 6.0rbs 20.1mins

With OJ & him we will be 2 or 3 years away from getting deep into the playoffs with the right amount of production by that time Jordan should be making his impact.

14 games with 8 or more rebounds(off the bench)
He had a game with 6blks.

The % rating on 7' guys with this skill rate is very high so why not take a chance? It could be fun to watch him grow into an explosive monster in the form of Amare,Bynum,Howard.

Here's what I've found it's VERY interesting...
Dwight Howard's/Amare/Chandler/Jordan's measurements coming into the NBA
6'10.25 240lbs 7'4.5wingspan 9.35standing reach 3.14 3/4th court sprint
6'10 233lbs 7'1.75wingspan 9.0 standing reach 3.25 3/4th court sprint
7'0 224lbs 7'3wingspan 9'2 standing reach 3.36 3/4th court sprint
6'11 250lbs 7'6wingspan 9.55standing reach 3.27 3/4th cour sprint

He basically has a better body then all of them and the kid is only 19, like I said place any of them at texas A & M coming out of highschool and you won't see them put up better #'s than Jordan in those 21mins per game that he played.

I think worst case scenario Jordan will fall to the Sixers at 16 or maybe the Raptors at 17. How can we move up? The only thing we got is to ship out walkers expiring contract and take back a bad contract (no longer than jaric's deal) and their pick. Sacramento may do it for kenny thomas, pacers may do it to get rid of troy murphy.... I am just not sure how we can get a mid 1st pick without trading out of the #3 spot.
