ESPN (Andy Katz) is saying that the Heat had more workouts today with Mayo and Jerryd Bayless...and that Bayless had the better workout (according to a souce within the Heat)

It's not something that has been considered a possibility, but what happens if Miami says 'screw it' and picks Bayless 2nd? That can't possibly happen, right?

What would the Wolves do in that scenario?

You'd have a hard time finding any NBA scout or exec who believes Bayless is a better player than Mayo. If Miami really likes Bayless more than Mayo, they would trade down with Seattle.

You definitely have to go Beasley. Or you could trade down with Seattle and take who they don't while also getting something else in return.

if it was that easy, you'd think Miami would trade down...unless...unless they though Seattle loved Bayless and wouldn't give him up! Some might say..."move mountains" to get Bayless!! YES! All along from the beginning it has been a masterminded inter-team plot to get the Wolves the most possible value for the 3rd pick!

IMO, the only reason that Miami brought in Bayless is that they don't want to give the Wolves more leverage than they already have. They want the Wolves to be scared that the Heat will trade down for Bayless and therefore offer the Heat the best possible package.
