So do you think this means Shad stays?

It seems that we may be a little shallow in the productive SG department especially if we don't resign Kirk Snyder and trade Rashad. People we could play at SG are Miller, Shad, Brewer although I think Brew and Miller will play more SF. Also do you think we will go with Snyder over McCants? I don'[t think Kirk has even been back in Minnesota since the off-season.

I hope he stays, Shaddy this year will determine to me if this mayo trade was worth it... barring love plays decent... but I hope he fills it up. 20ppg.

I think that since we don't have mayo we have to give him one more chance. It is his contract year isn't it?? Hopefully he can get things figured out.

I'm with Rev, I think he's here (and showcased as the 6th man) until the trade deadline at least. If I were the Woofies' front office, I wouldn't put too much stock into McCants' feud with Wittman. Both guys probably need to adapt a little: Rashard needs to listen more, and Witt needs to stop sucking so much.

Well if he goes are we targeting someone else? It looks like we will be once again lacking in the offensive perimeter threat area. Right as the roster stands I think we need a guy like Shad.

Miller, McCants, and Foye all shot over 40% from three last year.

That's a good point deeney. I think we might want to give that trio a spin before we make nay moves unless a good deal comes along.

I can pretty much guarantee he'll be here. Hoiberg pretty much said as much on KFAN this morning. They proposed some lineup featuring Brewer at the 2 and Hoiberg went so far as to correct the radio announcer, complement mccants, and propose a lineup of Foye/McCants/Miller/Love/Jefferson. It looks solid to me. I'd peg that team at 40 wins or more this year.

We lost one prospect (Mayo) and gained three (Shad, Love and Bassy).

I don't understand the idea that Mayo being here meant Shad had to go. Mayo, Foye and Shad would have been a solid 3 guard rotation. Bassy might have been too small to play with that group, but he still might be too small to play with the current group.

Love it.

**PS i do not enjoy constantly having to try to change what i say to avoid constantly punning Kevin Love's name.**

Solid offensively... which one of Foye, McCants, and Miller is going to play perimeter defense?...which one of Kevin Love and Al Jefferson is going to play interior defense?

I think Shad will stay and they will see if he responds to the opportunity. Shad should come into the season healthy this year, and has the ability to average 15-20. Will he step it up on defense? that's the question that we'll need answered within the first 20 games.

How about Gomes staying?

Al is fine defensively as a man defender ,even as a center while opponents shoot good percentages against him they don't get many shots which limits the problem. The defensive problems we have now are the same as last year Guards that can't stop the drive and unless Love is the answer no help defense from the big men to stop them.
