I thought it'd be interesting to list all of the former Wolves (and current ones, too) who are FA's this offseason and update this thread to where they end up going for the 2008-2009 season. Just to keep track of our former players, you know?

Alphabetically:

Anthony Carter
1 year, 1.2 mil - DENVER NUGGETS

Sam Cassell

Ricky Davis

Michael Doleac

Ronald Dupree
OKC's summer league roster.

Ndudi Ebi
OKC's summer league roster.

Richie Frahm
Dallas' summer league roster.

Ryan Gomes

Gerald Green
1 year, 826k - DALLAS MAVERICKS

Bobby Jones
Denver's summer league roster.

Dwayne Jones

Theo Ratliff

Justin Reed
Orlando's summer league roster.

Chris Richard

Craig Smith
2 years, MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES

Kirk Snyder

Sebastian Telfair

Beno Udrih
5 years, 32 mil - SACRAMENTO KINGS

Loren Woods
CUT

I'm assuming I forgot some, so please, help me out. And also, if I miss any updates, post them in here, will ya?

Beno got 25 million? Wow I'm glad we cut him. Otherwise we would have paid him that. Ouch.

heh, look like Wolves unconditionally won the GG trade since Houston isn't keeping him.

lol I think the only reason MN won that trade is the second rounder.....IMO the fact that GG isnt on Houston's roster anymore is better for Houston and only makes it more even at this point. that dude just sucks!

yeah we have no intent to keep Snyder (unfortunately - I really like him) so it is only b/c of the 2nd rounder. when can we use that one btw? next season?

I dunno, I always felt like we should've just thrown GG out there and see what happens. Rather see GG mix in bonehead plays w/ highlights than the consistent drudgery from Marko or Buckner

Buckner didn't hardly play past the beginning of the season either.

I liked him too. I could only see Snyder coming back if there was some kind of McCants for a big trade (which sounded like a possibility prior to the draft), but highly unlikely now.

Snyder was ok, but nothing too amazing and his QO was for like 3+ million, no?

I'd rather hunt down the next Jamario MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON

Missing from the list, Ndudi Ebi is on the Sonics' summer league roster. Justin Reed on the Magic's. Loren Woods on the Rockets'.

Ebi's on a summer roster? Wow, I thought he'd be done. What's crazy is he's like what, only 23 now? He could still be a good player for all we know.

I wouldn't sign him longterm for that money but as long as we don't have major cap space I'd like to sign him for cheap. maybe not 3+ million but something around 1.5-2 million.

OKC summer league roster? how cynical is that? I thought the sonics would remain for one more year in seattle

wiretap suggests they are the NBA OKCs now, Lol

also I believe A.Carter can be updated too, source stated that he would re-sign with the Nuggets

I was hoping to hear by now what number they threw at Gomes, because it is going to decide all the rest of our moves.

If its too high -- or more likely, "too long," I think he'll quickly be in the "Former Wolves" list.

I sure hope its not more than the MLE.

In fact, I'm hoping that by 2010 we'll have less than 15mil invested in Gomes, our backup PG (Telfair?) and our backup PF (Smith?). If we can get those 3 positions locked up for less than 15 mil, I will be satisfied.

I know this is a bit off the topic but is there a chance we can get Tony Allen for around 2.5 for the next two years?
