I think it has something to do with salaries turning over to the new season to make the numbers work for the trades, iirc. So the trades were not official and will not be until 7/9/08 I believe. And since summer league squads were already set, they were SOL.
Sad because I was looking forward to seeing a glimpse of the likes of Rush and Hibbert - 2 players who I've seen play a lot of college ball.
