2008-09 Salary Cap and Luxury Tax Threshold (per ESPN)

ESPN is reporting that the 2008-09 Salary cap will be at $58.68 million, and the luxury tax threshold will be at $71.15 million. After today's trade, the Wolves have approximately $59.60 million salary committed to their 2008-09 roster. Based on the (almost certain) assumption that they won't go over the lux, this leaves them with $11.55 million to work with to sign free agents.
That's actually more than I was expecting they'd have to work with - hopefully that doesn't tempt them to overpay Ryan (or anybody else).
Rosters spots is something to watch, too. They've got 11 spots filled now, so they now can't keep all 5 RFA's (not that anyone expects them too). Of course, waiving a player like Booth could get them an extra spot if the wanted it.
