Amare's a great basketball player, he really is, but he's not much for the defense. Maybe a lot of that is Mike D'Antoni, I don't know, but as it is, Amare's just not a great defender. I think (I guess it's a hunch) that Amare has the will to be better on D, but I don't think he's had the coaching. We'll see if it improves with the coaching change in Phoenix.
