Give Capspace for...

I've seen a bunch of justification for not wanting trades based on capspace, and tons of cross arguments about MN not being a premier FA destination so why bother. I don't care to debate either point, but I am wondering what my fellow wolves fans would give up capspace for in the following 2 years. Just wanna hear thoughts and ideas. Picks for next years capspace ala phx-sea?
For instance I think MN could really benefit from an AK47 or josh smith type at the 3, but would it be worth it to anyone to give up capspace in the next two years to get something worked out for any glaring need?
For instance AK47 surely isnt worth 17m in his final season to anybody, but a lineup of...
Al/love/ak47/miller/foye sure looks appealing? I guess it would depend how much capspace MN would end up having in 10/11. If MN had ~12m in capspace in 10/11 and a lineup of Love\Al\AK47\<freeagent>\Foye it's something I might have to strongly consider....probably not at the cost it would take to get it done or sacrificing capspace, but I think the value may be close depending on how miller plays/fits, the incoming trade $$$ amount and their affect on our capspace, and the potential starting salary of free agent.

Interesting topic.
One of the things I would prefer spending the cap space on is a dominant center that can defend. Guys like Okafor or Bynum would magnify the impact Al Jefferson has on the team. I'd be less happy with a swingman, and its simply a matter of position scarcity. Every team seems to have a dominating swingman (except MIN), and these are often discovered later in the draft, which the best big men are almost always lottery picks. I don't disagree that MIN could use a great SF, but Mike Miller is fine, and we can hope that one of our players or picks develops. As for PG's, I can think of few that dominate games .. Chris Paul being an obvious exception.
A second idea forthis thread might be naming possible players that could become available. For example, I could see Denver struggling, Carmelo becoming unhappy, and the Nuggets trade Anthony to start again. There is obviously going to be some disappointing teams this year, who may have GMs and fans ask, "Why are we paying this guy so much money, when he's not getting us into the play-off?" I am happy that we have the financial flexibility to look for bargains among thouse players.
Regarding picks, to take all our cap space, it would have to be for a pick that will most likely be a pick solidly in the lottery. Late picks sell for $3 mil, so if we are trading all our cap space away, it should be for a lottery pick. Heck, we got Carney and a 1st for a much smaller savings than our entire cap space.

a line-up of Al/Love/AK47/Miller/Foye looks intriguing but I'd rather try to look for an allstar via Free Agency. I know we don't have the best destination for FAs but I'd rather try it than to trade for an overpriced great role player (which AK basically became). I love the talent he has but I think that he'd have the same problem here as he has in Utah: he'd be the 3rd or 4th option on offense and I'm sure this wouldn't make him happy. if we might deal for a borderline allstar or better I'd risk losing cap space because it would be a sure thing unless it is only an one year rental.
basically I'd say it depends on who is available. if it is someone who fits well I'd do it but if not I'd rather take the risk in Free Agency
