9999 posts! If you were to read a poll started by me and have an ensuing opinion based on this aforementioned poll, what would it be if your opinion were to be confined to polling options???

I voted "pick huckleberries" - I don't quite know why, it just seemed right.

I guess I need to start post padding, since I have so few posts and have been on this site longer than most posters here. If only I could remember my old user-name and password I'd have an even earlier name to go with about 47 posts.

And nothing beats a nice haiku.

Troll. The Blazer fans need to be kept in check.

Fresh huckleberries, by the way, easily beat a nice haiku.

I was going to vote early retirement, you know, the whole going out on top; but then I figured you would just go and buy partial ownership in another teams board and play a few years at a level far beneath your current talent level and no one wants to see that.

Spreading the Devil'z way to other board should be more entertaining (to myself at least) and that garnered my vote. Happy memories from before my time might be fun to hear as well, but keeping other teams down is far more important.

...and congrats on spending way too much time here, though we do appreciate most of the posts...

Yea, it was between a haiku and huckleberries for me. I chose the haiku for purely selfish reasons.

congrats.

Why can't you create a genius trade in haiku format?

I voted for retirement.

I truly enjoy your posts and contributions to this board. 9,999 posts is a testament to the level of dedication that someone needs to have to do nothing else constructive with their day. Lesser men let work, relationships, the Harry Potter books, watching Season 1 of "Californication", and other distractions take away from their true calling. You did not fall victim to that siren song.

However, going out with 9,999 is like Barry Sanders retiring inexplicably before breaking Walter Payton's record. There's more mystique. He was healthy, was he mad at management? Was their some higher calling? This made the legend truly legendary. You need to follow this path to truly transcend mere numbers on this board.

I voted pick huckleberries...when I was younger I bought some of these berries at a farmer's market and eventually made a pie out of them for the 4-H pie contest. Nobody had the firepower to mess with the likes of a perfectly done, juicy, yummy huckleberry pie. I'm salivating just thinking about it. I took home 1st prize. Hucklberry pie is good!!

I bet they're smaller, more energy efficient, and cost three times as much.

I guess I change my request into quoting me with something like this

"dear Devilz,
congrats to your 10000th post. we have had a nice time alltogether in the best message board in the entire internet. keep it goin'.
sincerely
the_incredible_basti
p.s.: are there any cornflakes boxes in Japan that contain a where-is-waldo-riddle?"

if you don't quote it, I'm all for a selfsacrifizing trolling post on the blazers board that causes you to be waived as a Martyr for the wolves community :D

I was kinda hoping for retirement as motivation to pry me away from realgm, but I guess I'll have to rely on my own willpower.

Theres no cornflakes or huckleberries as far as I can tell. Cant even get a decent energy drink. I saw a red bull somewhere, bu it was like 276 yen. **** that.

They do have this stuff called natto though that looks like soggy soy nuts covered in spider webs and it smells exactly like sweaty feet.

But my month is over now and I'll be heading to Narita later this morning :(

Time to rejoin Foye and Jefferson and the gang back in Minneapolis aroooooooooooooo

its not my fault, hackers gained control of my account when I wasn't looking

its total BS, I know, but I want you to know I filed a formal petition with the Traveling Secretary of RealGM.com this morning, he's going to trace the IP router foxtrot gamma trail and probably have a bunch of paperwork for me to fill out, but it's worth it if it gets one more hacker scum off teh internetz

If the poll soon shifts to you retiring, will you stop trolling forever?
