if u look at the "story highlight" to the right of the big topic line, u can find out that he injured his elbow when he was golfing, and he will miss a few days of the season due to the surgery

so i guess Kevin Love is starting right when the season starts?

1. The season is not 6-8 weeks long.
2. When talking about injury times during offseason, it doesn't start from beginning of season, but from time of diagnosis.
3. Six to 8 weeks from time of injury puts it at October 23 to November 6.
4. He will miss a little bit of time, but not the whole season.
