On the bright side, if this is worst case scenario, it makes us the early favorite to have more lotto balls then anyone else.

Not much of a bright side.
Thanks for the info. Keep us posted.

in case you don't know, Kingly (the OP) is a close friend to Big Al and since he just said a MRI is scheduled for today we're all concerned about the result.

If this does end badly, yes, if I was to choose a season in which this would be ideal to occur, it would be this one. But still....you never want injuries from you key guys ever.

Jeez no kidding. I didn't even find out what this was about until 2 hours ago and my f5 button has shattered. Should we read into the fact that this hasn't been updated yet? Bad news?

I've been trying to hold off my reaction until something is known but I'm starting to get worried. Nothing on this anywhere online that I can find.

I guess Kingly will be one of the 1st persons to get it to know or at least I hope he is one of the 1st ones.
plus I have no idea about MRI's and how long it takes to wait for results etc. does anyone here have experiences with MRI's?

I think we can afford to be without Big Al for a little bit with Love, Foye, and Mike Miller. It would give Foye some experience as a leader and first option too.

it'd be nice to know a little more, like what kind of ailment he has and if its a precautionary MRI or what, sports teams aren't like HMOs, so an MRI is nothing to them and any reason at all can be reason enough to get one, but still it'd be nice to have a little more info. You can get an MRI for a myriad of medical reasons

Result: mcl sprain out 3-4 weeks maybe less.
Yesterday when the guys normally play 5 on 5, the ass. coaches came up with the briht idea to run drills instead. During one of the drills some nbdl guy tripped and fell right into Big Al's knee. It was a fluke injury, no swelling, but alot of pain. Sorry for the delay.
