look for screen #79 and 80

For lazy ppl,

Wolves

Jefferson 91
Miller 82
Love 80
Foye 79
Gomes 78
McCants 76
Brewer 75
Telfair 75
Carney 73
Smith 72
Cardinal 70
Madson 69
Booth 64
Collins 62

seriously i think some of our players are underated, if u look at the other player's ratings from other teams, i mean Paul, Garnett, Kobe, and Lebron has 99 thats fine....but.....alright, an example here

Lakers

bryant 99
gasol 91
bynum 86
odom 85
vujacic 80
fisher 78
farmar 77
walton 75
ariza 73
powell 72
karl 72
mihm 72
vlad 70

so Gasol = Jefferson? I think jefferson is clearly better than Gasol in any dimension...
and Sasha 80 ? Foye 79?
Karl=Mihm=Cookie=72?

WTF..........

I'm fine w/ the Lakers' ratings and I mostly can live with ours too with the exception of Craig Smith, he should be right w/ Gomes, around 78ish

I'll have to see how the attributes are distributed for everybody. Last year they had Craig Smith all wrong, I really think they got him mixed up with Millsap because Millsap was and offensive scoring machine and Craig Smith was high on defense and super high on rebounding. And they slept on McCants' 3 pt abilities, hopefully that's changed

K Luv at 80, thats pretty decent

Karl is too high. MIhm should be slightly lower as well. For the most part, our ratings our on point. Just a few head scratchers on other teams. I think they're just trying to make sure certain teams have high ratings so their bench gets upped just a little bit. It's a little cheap, but whatever.

IMO, this would be more realistic.

Wolves

Jefferson 91
Miller 84
Love 80
Foye 81
Gomes 78
McCants 78
Brewer 75
Telfair 75
Smith 75
Carney 73
Cardinal 70
Madson 69
Booth 64
Collins 62

Still a team on the lower half of the league's power rankings but based on the performances Miller, Jefferson, Foye, and McCants put up last year they should be ranked slightly higher than they were in 2k8.

BTW - anyone notice Caron Butler is rated at 91, too? So he's every bit the player Jefferson is? Please...

EDIT 2: Holy crap... they rated Mario Chalmers at 79!

Like Sessions? He hardly played last year and he is a 78. Also I thought his main weakness was defense.. But he got a B- for per D just like Charlie Bell, who is actually a good defender.

Andrew Bynum should be about 83 or maybe 84, Brewer should be a little lower than 75, Foye should be 81 or 82

You cant tell me because Bynum played 35 games averaging 13 and 10, and Foye averaged 13, 4 assists and 3 rebounds and he is 7 behind Bynum, give me a break

Vujacic is about right since he was their spark off the bench

I think Caron Butlers rating is about right

Although it doesn't excuse all these ratings, I 'll post here what I posted elsewhere.

Yea Chalmers is way high for a second round pick. Foye gets the shaft because he looks so bad in the Roy trade and he missed so much time last year. On top of that 2K's ratings are based on position. Certain attributes in that position greatly increase overall rating more than others. For instance, a center with a 99 pass rating and good center stats may come out to be a 85 overall player. But if he had a 99 pass rating with those same stats and was a PG with decent PG stats he may be a 90.

If you categorize Foye as a SG he probably goes up to 81-83. I bet his pass rating is low along with some other PG skills.

The fact that Bynum is an 84 and Foye is a 79 doesn't meant that Bynum is necessarily a way better player. It means that Bynum is a better center than Foye is a PG.

Pssht, the new NBA Live Dynamic DNA>NBA 2k9 ( I say as someone who profits off the dynamic DNA). :)

2k9 has all of that constant update stuff too and it doesn't suck, so I'd have to give it the edge.

I would venture to guess that 2k9 doesn't have the sophisticated Synergy Sports Technology access for their constant updates, so I doubt it's even close to Live in that regard (I play neither game, but there's a reason 24 NBA teams pay huge money for Synergy's services).

Im more worried about game play when im playing a game. Synergy Sports Superstar Extravaganza or not, 2k9 is consistent year in and year out when it comes to a quality game.

I'd go as far as saying that when healthy Brand>Dirk. If you argument is that EB is coming off an injury than I can agree, other than that I'll take Brand. Dirk is a really tall SG.

If EA buys out 2K, I'd hope that they just keep it simple and integrate 2K's gameplay with Live's graphics. That would be a dream basketball game.

Sounds like EA is backing off of buying 2K and I'm grateful as a consumer.

2K has living rosters. It isn't the same as synergy. With living rosters NBA 2K will actually have a person called the "2K Insider" be responsible for roster updates and player changes. He will mane changes when he feels they are necessary and he will blog about why he mad the changes. It isn't as statistically precise as synergy but it does add a human element. On top of that they will add new player animations, signature styles, etc as they see fit.

So if Foye tuns into a beast this year and busts out this clutch layup everytime we need a game winning shot they will put that into the game.

2K8 didn't even have graig smith, so there's a step up. Sessions wasn't in 2K8 either.
