speaking about centers: damn, Patrick O'Bryant sure looked nice tonight.
I mean it's nice to gamble on 7 footers, who actually have talent.
unlike you know... Hoffa.

I probably would too, but we can keep him in Sioux Falls so that he gets his reps and continues to develop.

Booth is out. Thats a given i think. Hoffa is probably gone as well, and I dont see Ahearn making it on account of he is just as young as the other PG's here and I figure the vet presence of Ollie would sit well with McHale and co.

didn't we just sign David Harrison?

we have too many frontcourt players, especially if you count Harrison, unless they look at Gomes as strictly SF or don't count Cardinal and Madsen

Richard might get a bit of run in Sioux Falls, but don't count on him spending the season there. He didn't last year.

Yes, but we also didn't have both Collins and Love last year, two guys he'll need to beat for playing time.

Tough to call, and I would like seeing some of the recent signees have the opportunity, but we just don't have enough roster space.
1. Foye
2. Miller
3. Gomes
4. Love
5. Jefferson
6. Telfair
7. McCants
8. Brewer
9. Smith
10. Carney
11. Ollie
12. Madsen
13. Cardinal
14/15. Collins/Richards/Harrison
The last spot really depends on a Collins buy out (I don't think likely) and who they like best with Richards and the newly signed Harrison. If Harrison is a true center I give him the edge, but we will have to see what he brings to the table.

And yet Richard barely played last year, either. I expect him on the bench most of the year.

I agree with the first ten if Carney is healthy. Then Ollie, Cardinal, then probably Madsen, Collins, and Harrison. I think Richards needs another year or two of playing in the CBA before he could contribute much.

I still sniff a trade. Miller/Brewer/Gomes/Shad/Carney all need minutes to develop

Miller>Shad>Brewer>Gomes>Carney....I'd prolly say Gomes would be the best to trade for me. Carney wouldn't get us anything so might as well keep him.

Neither are NBA-caliber players.
