Re: Charlotte - Minnesota
I would do it. You have to think Charlotte is down on Felton considering they drafted Augustin.
What I would really like to do is get a package with him and Wallace (if there really considering trading him) but I don't know how that would work to benefit our team.

Re: Charlotte - Minnesota
Craig Smith would certainly have value next to Okafor or Nazr, and playing in the East. PF is their biggest need -- I even read their boards this morning and they were 50/50 on acquiring Zach Randolph! THAT'S desperate! I'd also add that CHA has to do something, and has hinted about moving Felton after MJ lobbied so heavily to get Augustine.
For us, Felton represents exactly the kind of "high-talent-but-hasn't-produced" type of players that I'd like to take a look at. In addition, maybe he can help straighten out McCants, relying on their UNC days. I hope they don't demand we take Sean May too.
Nice trade. We'd just have to wait until Dec. 15th, since Telfair and Smith signed new contracts. I assume Smith's BYC wouldn't be an issue, but I don't have time to run the numbers.

Count me as one who doesn't think Felton is an upgrade over Telfair at this point.

^^^agreed. If we could Alexis Ajinca (sp?) as well than I would be all for it.

What would the lineup look like with Felton and what kind of change would it take to resign him?

Re: Charlotte - Minnesota
Im not a Felton fan at all! Telfair > Felton. I would maybe do Telfair and Smith for Morrison and Protected 1st.
But not this trade.
