NJ/Minny

NJ sends:
Sean Williams
Keyon Doolling
2nd round pick

NJ recieves:
Randy Foye
Calvin Booth

Why for NJ?
They bring home a local guy and hope he develops to his true potential. Sean Williams has massive potential and had a great summer and camp, but for unknown reasons and quality depth remains in Opie's doghouse. Keyon Dooling is a nice player, but Foye can take his place.

Why for Minny?
They get the defensive minded, young PF/C to back up Jefferson and/or Love and hopefully start eventually if he recognizes even two thirds of his potential. They also get a nice backup point who is still young and signed to a very reasonable 3 year deal, the 3rd year being a team option. They also get a 2nd rounder, which should be a pretty early one next year.

Would you do it for Boone instead of Williams?

LOL, no. no thanks. Williams is more of a headcase than i am willing to deal with if the price is Foye. Dooling is a nice player but i think he is about done realizing his potential.

I would say I probably would, I don't know about the rest of the Nets' board.

We would probably want Carney in place of Booth then if that makes any difference?

Your fifth big man for our #1 PG?

If we were to trade Foye, we could do better than this elsewhere.

What a horrible offer.

I counter with Carney + BOS pick for Williams

So honestly, what would it take to get Foye?
