So my question is who is to blame?

Wittman will win (lose?) this poll overwhelmingly.

voted = lack of trust and defense

But what I really think this comes down to is just a lack of leadership. All our vets are bench players or new (Miller). Big Al needs to step it up in this department.

It's a combination of things. Lack of trust is huge, as is defense. But why is there a lack of trust and why aren't these players playing at least decent defense? It falls on the coach to get his players to play. They just aren't playing as a team and that has to fall squarely on the coach's shoulders.

I think the trades killed us, I felt by drafting Love we decided Jefferson would be the center forever and we would be a team without defense (another thing Chalmers could do well). I'm not saying Love is bad, I just think OJ Mayo was a better fit, but I could be wrong in the future. Personally I rather would have seen Chalmers-Foye/Mayo/Brewer/Gomes/Jefferson this year but I could be wrong in the future (I actually didn't realize Chalmers could be so good already).

Wittman has a roster full of offensive weapons who can't play defense and no leader at the point guard position. Honestly I can't think Wittman can do to much, he is trying different combos, but I think it will never work. This is something that was known when we traded/drafted for these guys so I won't blame them because we knew ahead of time.

Just take a look at Wittman's W/L career. He shouldn't even be coaching at the pro level.

You're saying that based on one year in college? I believe his high school team won the state championship.

It is right. Wittman should be coach for D-League. He is by no means is a coach for any NBA. He has never been. He was coach for 3 days in Cleveland. Thats about it.

The whole organization is responsible for the mess starting from Glen T, Kevin M, coaches, players etc.

Do you see any improvements? I see same TW last season. Write it down, we won't have better season than last season.

If we some how extinct the existing Wittman and Mchale, it would lower.

It's a bit of everything.

Wittman has no track record of success and the team has never shown an ability to play defense. The lineups he uses seem like he's trying to throw everything against the wall and hope he gets lucky.

I like drafting Love, but agree that while he's a good compliment to Al offensively, defensively Al at C with Love, Gomes, or Smith at PF is brutal. We have a PG in Telfair who can pass, but not score. We have a scoring PG in Foye who can't run a team and is having trouble scoring. Neither is the leader we need. Mike Miller has been decent, but he's more of a shooter than the true back court scorer we need to compliment Al. (Meaning he's much more Dan Majerle than Reggie Miller/Ray Allen). I could go on and on, but essentially we have a bunch of pieces that don't fit well together for the most part. We have a #1 surrounded by #3/#4 types at best.

why did we even hire wittbrick as the coach? Dwayne Casey was not so bad as a coach when he was here.
