Other teams pick up guys that no one else has ever even heard of and they just turn into these monsters...meanwhile we have high draft pick after high draft pick and squander each and every one on a player that is perhaps average.

Anthony Morrow??? 37 and 11 followed by 25, 4 and 4...

not to mention Azubuike and Biedrins...

WHY just WHY can't we have a break out player?? WHY doesn't that happen to us? Jefferson broke out last year, but everyone knew he would do exactly what he did.

Plus alot of those guys have systems where players like that flourish. They don't try and play old man basketball like we do. They run and gun and everybody has a green light. We are slow and micromanaged.

If Monta Ellis hadn't gone down Morrow would probably of never gotten a chance, and be playing in the d-league and mouthing off at Nelson. Who knows, Al could go down and Jason Collins could come out and unleash 30 and 10

It's his shooting percentage that I find so impressive. I mean, I know it's bound to come down sometime, but still.

Yeah, wouldn't put Biedrins in that category, but yeah, Calinks kinda said it best, our style isn't gonna allow for anyone to just walk in and bust 30 and 10. And we are way too micromanaged, the guys can't just go out there and play. And for a young team, that can be a problem.

I do think system plays a part of it. I also think it's opportunity. He'd play for us and if he missed one shot he'd get pulled and only play 4 minutes. Sometime you need to just force feed a rookie and let them play through mistakes.
