there's a game tonight!

Post#1 » by Basti » Sun Nov 23, 2008 11:04 pm

no time to include any pics so this has to be enough

Wolves @ Pistons

S5:

Wolves

Foye
Miller
Gomes
Jefferson
Collins

vs

Pistons

Iverson
Hamilton
Prince
Wallace
Brown (?)

Key Match-up:

Big Al vs Sheed

I think offensively Big Al will be better than Sheed but it won't matter anyway I fear.

prediction: Wolves 85 Pistons 98

p.s.: I hope I'm horribly wrong while I want to get my 1st W when creating a game thread

Let's play the FSN plus minus game. Every Game, we choose one wolf who we think will score above his season average. If that player does score above their average, all of the points that score over will count towards your score. All the points below give you a negative score. So if you picked Big Al, who is averaging like 21 PPG and if he scores 30 you are plus 9. If Al scores 1 point you are -20. We can total up our scores over the week and determine the weekly winner every Monday.

I'm going to go first. I'm picking Miller to go over.

I'm not liking our bigs taking jumpshots although Al is hitting them.

Al, stick with your bread and butter dude. Just use the J to keep them from cheating.

Foye has 2 points.

Big Al has turned into KG on offense.

Al is looking very comfortable taking the J. I just like him playing inside paint.

I should have picked Gomes for +/- game but I'm concerned this is all we'll see by Gomes for tonight. either he won't get any good shots from now on or he'll miss them.

but I think the 1st quarter was a good one
