are you guys gonna be wearing retro jerseys this season?

Don't think so this year - we have new unis and there isn't really anything to commemorate. Maybe next year as it will be the 20th anniversary of the franchise.

Green retros would be nice. They are my favorite Wolves jersey.

My bad. '89-'90 was the first season. 2009-2001 would be 20 years but, you are right, this year is the 20th season.

Yea they have been talking about it on FSN every game and we get 20th highlights at every halftime. It would be cool to go retro a few times this year.

How retro we talking? Like Minnesota Muskies retro? THAT would be sweet.

i think the retros would be the garnet rookie jerseys, i would need tog et a mike miller ASAP

Every so often I see a BLACK retro jersey and it makes me so upset that i cant find one on Ebay. Those things are awesome.

I've seen other franchises that came in in the late 80s wear their retro (Heat, Magic), why not us? I would like to see them bust out them circa '89 jerseys once.

edit: right now I found one on germany ebay but it is worn and the quality of the pic is pretty bad

Only instead of green the jersey is black. Throwback is what i meant originally, not retro sorry. The original Wolves jerseys Sam Mitchell and co days.

I love when teams wear throwback jerseys. Hopefully the Timberwolves do it at some point this season. I imagine they will... what with the 20th anniversary and all.

I've seen it twice. Once at my first job at a movie theater and i asked the guy where he got it and he said it was wayyy too long ago (this was 2005) and i saw one at one of our home games this year. i probably deleted the game off the tivo and i dont remember which game it was. It does exist though

what about using our friend google?

i have tried. trust i have tried. but i have never seen it in images or anything. everytime i type in "Garnett black throwback" or "Black throwback jersey timberwolves" i get nothing. There are more "5" jerseys then the one im actually looking for.

that's bad. isn't there a sports jersey (online) shop that you might contact to ask them if they knew anything about it?
