The Minnesota Timberwolves "Who ya got?" +/- game Topic
Posted: Mon Dec 1, 2008 7:11 pm
I decided to make a topic for this so that people can make their picks ahead of time and not just right before the game. Here are the weekly winners so far.
Week 1: the_incredible_basti
Week 2: south_fl_twolf
For the last week and a half Foye has been a pick favorite and rightfully so. Mike Miller, Kevin Love, and Craig Smith all have been known to have big games... unless they are picked by me. My tip of the week? Don't pick the same guy Calinks does.
Last Weeks Results
south_fl_twolf: +13
Klomp: +7
the_incredible_basti: +6
hijacktheparade: +2
collin_k41: -8
Howler21: -7
ALICEinJAM: -7
Calinks: -9
The Game : Playing the +/- game is simple. You pick any player before the game and you watch them play. Anything that player scores above his average gives you + points. Anything the player scores below his average give you - points. The goal is to have the most + points by the end of the week. Whoever has the most points by the end of the week is the weekly winner.
Example: You pick Rashad McCants and he goes off for 33 points. Since McCants averages 9 PPG you would get +24 for that night. Conversely if McCants played and got 1 point, you would get -8. Note that you can change your pick at anytime before the game.
Next Game!: @ Charlotte 6:00pm FSN North KFAN-AM 1130
Tonight we play against the Charlotte Bobcats. Unfortunately, our man Brewer is out for the season
so I wouldn't suggest picking him.
Tonight I'm going with Shad. (He better freaking play)
