It was just a couple of minutes but they actually talked about our win streak and talked a bit about Al Jefferson. It was a nice little feature!

they should be talking about Telfair and Foye, because it's their emergence that's getting these wins. When Al has to do all the work, he ends up having to take contested, bad shots, and Wolves lose. Lately, Telfair and Foye have been hitting shots, attacking the defense and taking the heat off of Al. I like this whole off the wall "playing as a team" strategy

I love Big Al, bu regardless of if anyone else is hitting their shots he still takes a ton of bad, contested shots.
I agree though. Bassy and Foye deserve a lot of credit.

Guard play is what is getting it done for this squad. They had the worst guard play in the league before the turnaround. Orlando's 3rd string beat our starters a while back and now they're playing like real NBA professionals. Who knew a Bassy/Foye backcourt could do it?

...against bad teams, let's not forget. It's progress, but they need another big backcourt player to handle and play with Foye, IMO. Miller is big, but his greatest strength (shooting) hasn't been well displayed on this team.

Bassy was one of the two players that were pick as the "ballers of the night" on fastbreak last night. The other was Luis Scola with 18pts and 11 boards.

Let's not jump to conclusions.
Let's see them consistently do well together and then we can talk.
My favorite part about the winning streak is that McCants is getting no burn

To paraphrase the groundskeeper in Major League:
"I guess they aren't <horrible>"

That's your favorite part?
That's the
MAIN part

^Not a coincidence, at least. The fact that Brian Cardinal (yeah, THAT Brian Cardinal) is getting 15 minutes a night during this streak and Shaddy is counting splinters on the end of the bench is lesson number 586,098 on basketball and team chemistry - if you're bad for chemistry, your indvidual talent doesn't matter.
McCants' MN career is finished. He might get it together for a different team at some point (remember, he averaged 15 ppg and 40% on 3 pointers last year) but I think you can stick a fork in his career as a Timberwolf.

I/m not happy about the McCants situation but he brought this on himself. I expected more from him. I think he will be fine eventually when he's on another team.

I said it in December, i think KG is the only guy that can help him salvage his career at this point, help him get his head on straight.
