I knew Nick Young would emerge one of these days. I followed him at USC and have been checking his progress. He has started occasionally at Washington but mostly comes off the bench. He has hit 43 of 60 shots for 71% in his last four games going:
12-19 for 30 points in 32 minutes
06-09 for 12 points in 26 minutes
12-15 for 26 points in 27 minutes and tonight
13-17 for 33 points in 33 minutes in fact the whole Wizards team had phenominal stats but they still lost. Like the Wolves the Wizards need a few more pieces.

That is some impressive shooting. How is his defense coming along?
The Wizards have all the pieces they need. Most of them are just injured.

Yeah i was trying to work deals for Nick Young early in the season but learned that most of the Wiz board felt he was a keeper. I always liked this kid.

Yeah, the kid is knocking down his shots for sure.
If only the wiz had a good solid center and a tier one point that speaks his mind they would be really tough in the east.

Young is definitely a nice scorer, needs to pick it up defensively it looks like, but I always liked him. I'd forgotten how much I had been jocking him until someone bumped a thread from a long time ago where I was bemoaning the Wolves passing on him.
I'll always get caught up with a 6'6 SG with great athleticism that can shoot, even wacky guy like JR Smith. I was up in arms when Chicago got JR from the Hornets for garbage, then basically gave him away and Denver walked away with him. Actually we could probably still get JR since George Karl is having so much problems with him.
At any rate, I agree with the OP that we should work out a trade for JR Smith.

I just picked him up on my fantasy team, do you think he will keep it up?

I was just about to mention this kid. He reminds me a little bit of Kevin Martin only without the slashing skills and the ability to draw fouls. I know Young is a pretty good athlete so maybe the slashing skills will come with time.
