Alright i'm back with the game thread! I'm still hang on to my 7-1 game thread record and hope that could bring the wolves some extra luck they might not even need in this game

some facts: The wolves are looking to won 7 of their last 8 games and remain the the best team in 2009

The clippers are without starting forward Zach Randolph, starting center Chris Kaman, starting guard Baron Davis, and reserve Mike Taylor and Jason Hart. On top of that, Starting forward Marcus Camby was injured in last game and did not return, he is listed as day-to-day and questionable for this game

I think so. they talked about "only for people with IPs from US and Canada"

Just wanted to point out that with us playing so hot lately (wins in 6 of last 7) and the Clippers being so awful (12 game losing skid up until the other night) I was dreading the upcoming game and thought it would be the feared "trap" game. However, with the Clips getting that win and us taking a tough loss to Miami i feel most pressure is alleviated and we will destroy the Clippers this afternoon

In no way am i advocating taking this game easy and trying to coast through, just that i think had the Clips not won recently and been on a 13 game skid, they would have been due for a win.

Love the nicknames! Especially the reserves.

For once this season we can say flat out the Wolves are the better team tonight. They need play their own game, minimize turnovers and win the rebounding battle.

I want to see us win by 10+ tonight!

There haven't been many times I felt good about our chances to win, I feel good about this game.

Bring em on

The old Timberwolves would make me feel scared about this game.

The new Wolves make me feel like we will win in our second blowout of the season.

The wolves better bring it.

This is one of those games where a bunch of players I don't even know can go off and beat us with a dagger. That best not happen this afternoon. I'm not penciling this one in yet.

You are correct, sir.

We also have blown out New York in December where Rashad had his best game.

I want this to be a blowout because we play the Jazz tomorrow and I want our starters resting the whole third through the fourth.

I wouldn't mind a close game from a fan perspective, though.

Malik's 3 to win was 9 years ago. RIP, great player, teammate and person!
