Gomes/Smith/Collins/Boston 1st for Nocioni/Noah/09 1st
Bulls do it for cap space. Gomes is a cheaper back up for Deng. Smith brings front court scoring to a team that needs it.
Wolves
Telfair/Ollie
Foye/Miller/McCants
Nocioni/Carney -- Brewer
Love/Cardinal
Jefferson/Noah/Madsen
With the Bulls, Heat, and their own pick the Wolves should be able to combine two of them (Wolves,Bulls) and trade up to get Holiday. Then take Jordan with the other one.
Going into next season..
Holiday/Telfair/Ollie(resign him to help Holiday)
Foye/Miller
Nocioni/Brewer
Love/Noah/Cardinal
Jefferson/Jordan/Madsen
edit- Nocioni's contract.. 8, 7.5, 6.85, 6.65, 7.5(to)

Yikes was not the response I was going for haha, so I added Noah to soften the blow of Nocioni's contract.

lol sorry. I dont like the size of length. Getting Holiday and Noah is great, but i dont think Noc does a lot for this team that Gomes doesnt do.

Strange because Noah was like the kick in the balls after taking the blow of the contract for me.
I just don't know what people see in him. I live with 4 Bulls fans and they all hate him.

Yep Cookie > Noah. Noah's struggled when he's started at centre, and Cookie's been better offensively. Plus Noah's stats have dropped from last season with pretty similar minutes and he's scoring under 5 ppg.

Noah wouldn't be starting he would be a hustle guy off the bench. Who cares if he is scoring under 5 ppg? Love/Jefferson will get the points. While Noah can focus on things he is better at: shot blocking, and yelling like a mad man. Seriously though, Nocioni and Noah would bring some fire to a team that looked really lazy before McHale took over. I hope that had more to do with the players hating the coach than them giving up after all those close games not going their way. Time will tell.

I think both teams pass. The Bulls are building around Rose, so drive-and-kick guys like Nocioni are more valuable to them on the court than a tweener forward (lacking 3pt range) like Gomes. And the Wolves have to be happy with their record lately - 8-2 in their last 10. I don't see them trading a starter now unless the talent disparity is hugely in their favor.

I'm pretty cheap with the cap space, so I'm against most CHI trades. However, I think if you replaced Nocioni with Hinrich and upped the pick to be the MIA one, its a trade many Wolves fans would like. I don't like Noah's personality, but he does have some tools, and it might help pairing him with Corey Brewer. I don't like Hinrich's contract, but he's an Iowa kid who's game, if he can get back to its previous level, is a very nice compliment to Foye's. I don't have much interest in Nocioni .. I'm hopeful with Gomes/Carney and a little Mike Miller/Brewer next year SF is covered, and we always have plenty of PF's.

Hasn't Noah been re-classified as "hot garbage"?

I do not like any trade idea of getting a bulls player except for Rose which will not happen...think most of them are WAY overvalued.
Bulls were very lucky in draft for the last 10 years but they still suck...
best example is Tyrus Thomas...I remember the game vs. SAS few days ago...in 20 minutes he did not even get a rebound!
Nocioni turns 30 this year and that's why we don't need him and his big contract.
Noah is a player I don't want on this team even if we'd only have to give up McCants for him. I'd rather play with Collins.

I'd do it with us getting Hinrich and Noah and giving up Collins, McCants, Smith and Ollie.
You could still start Jefferson @ center w/ Noah coming off the bench or start Noah leaving Love coming off with the second unit. Our second unit would be Telfair, Miller, Carney, Cardinal and Love. LOVE DOES MOST OF HIS DAMAGE WITH JEFFERSON ON THE BENCH BUT I STILL SEE THEM PLAYING TOGETHER 10-15 MINUTES A GAME.
With Craig Smith gone we lose some points but with Hinrich and Noah we gain both interior and backcourt defense - something we are still weak at.
Hinrich/Telfair/Foye
Foye/Miller
Gomes / Carney / Cardinal / Miller
Jefferson / Love
Noah / Jefferson / Love
Noah should do better after a fresh start and won't pull that crap with McHale or he'll be sitting like McCants is right now. Being with Brewer might help too.

I'd consider that one. Noah is a cheap rotational big man who could contribute and his salary isn't going to prevent other moves. Hinrich is a bit of a gamble with the contract. The upside is that I think he would pair with Foye nicely in the back court. I think this move would make it more likely for us to move Miller for expirings.
Right now I'd say our needs are (in no particular order) starting PG, scoring SF, rotational C with defensive ability, and backup SG. I think this trade gives us two of those(depending on Noah), but at the same time I'm not sure it's the best option out there.

As much as I like Noah, we shouldn't have to take back a long contract to get him right now.
I've been strongly against Hinrich but maybe watching him play could change my mind. Not in a Schizo way like Devilz. Well then again, maybe kinda like Devilz. Yeah, kind of.
But not really.

Nocioni seems to play like a dope a lot of the time - doesn't ever seem to adapt to what's going on in the game.
Hinrich would have some appeal, but I would pass because of his contract.

^Noc only plays good when he's eating his Scoobie Snacks.
