http://www.startribune.com/sports/wolves/39120622.html?page=2&c=y Wolves front-office guys Jim Stack and Fred Hoiberg scouted Connecticut 7-3 center Hasheem Thabeet and Louisville forward Earl Clark, among others, in the Huskies' runaway victory Monday in Louisville, Ky. Looks like the Wolves will have two or three first-round picks this summer: Boston's for sure, Miami's probably and their own if it's one of the June draft's top 10.

so we can probably cross Earl Clark off our list then and bump up Terrence Williams. Sounds good to me on both counts.

Is Hasheem Thabeet a top 10 pick? I'm not going to lie I don't know a ton about this draft but isn't there teams that will be drafting in front of us that need a big? We can alway trade down...

I can't think of many lottery teams that can't use his shotblocking, rebounding, and interior d. He is going to be a very hot commodity in this weak draft because of his very unique skill set. Griffin, Harden, and Rubio if he comes out are the only 3 guys I can really put above him right now. Sacramento has a glut of big men, so they'd probably pass, and Washington has Blatche and McGee. Clips w/ kaman and camby, but don't count them out, they are set at all 5 positions. Warriors have Biedrins, wright, and randolph, but they're also loaded at the 1,2,and3.
Personally, barring injury or a collapse in performance I don't see him slipping past 5.

he is actually a below average defender man to man. I am concerned about his offensive potential as well. he lacks the upper body strength to be a strong finisher.
the same people who has concerns last year about hibberts offensive strength inside need to look at thebeast in the same light. he is 1/10 the offensive player hibbert is and less of a straight man defender.
speaking of which I wish we could make a trade for hibbert. he would be great with love and al.

Hibbert would be a great guy to have. I wasn't on board for drafting him, but if team thinks he can play more than 20 mpg for a prolonged period of his career are crazy. 20 mpg is almost too much, but with Al and Love that wouldn't be a problem. Hibbert would be great off the bench, providing offense in spurts and a couple lucky blocks when he's in the right spot. Good call.

Indiana gives:
Rasho
Hibbert
09 2nd round pick
for
Mike Miller
Craig Smith.
I'll do it.
or maybe better value for us.
Daniels
Hibbert
for
Miller.

daniels does not do it for me. I could see indy really liking craig smith and I would include him in the deal. clear some roster spots and bring in a nice 5

IND is really attached to Hibbert .. I think it would take more to get them to give him up.

Can' see Indy giving up their current and future centers for Miller and Smith.

Hibbert is nice, but we can get our own Hibby in this draft. Don't sulk too much guys. Besides, Rev, what about Pek? Do you really want to play him like that? Leading him on and all?

Diener
Miller
Dunleavy
Murphy

A little too much what? Too much talent? Too much weight?

So, it'd be Love at the 3, Al at the 4 and Hibb at 5?

no sir. good question but my basic idea is that a successful 4/5 would be 3 man primary rotation. pending injuries this would be 96 minutes.
35 for Al
30 for love
that leave 31 minutes. lets say loe gets to a 35 mark it still leaves 26 minutes. personally I believe with his size hibbert would have a longer and more successful career if held in the 25min range to prevent much of the wear and tear that players his size have.
so there is plenty of room for hibbert/al/love in this frontcourt.
