No Horse for Love

It will be Mayo, Durant, and Joe Johnson. I hope Johnson wins.
I would have rather seen 3 big guys. Love, Sheed, and Dirk would have been fun to watch.

NBA has gotten really lame in recent years.

Love needs to stay home anyway and rest and drink lots of protein shakes. He's gonna have his hands full the rest of the season.

Sucks but not surprising. Jefferson, Love, Cris Carter all snubbed recently...

I thought they just picked the 3. Maybe I am wrong though and it's not new.

Haha, our cereal is called "cruch" and no one knows it exists. Does it have a sour apple taste?

I'd think there's some cagey veterans or even some coaches with some awesome trick-shot skills. I have no reason to believe Mayo or Durant has anything out of the ordinary.

Like that story about Gerald Wallace swindling DJ Augustin out of a c-note when he bet him he could hit from 20 feet behind the basket - these kids don't know about that stuff until they've spent a few years being bored at practice. Hope I'm wrong and that Mayo and Durant have some good material besides "free throw with my left hand!"

if they play it straight without a bunch of crazy shots, I'm gonna be disappointed

I went to a game really early probably a long time ago and watched Rasho hit a three sitting down in the stands about five rows back.

It must be a tall white guy thing. That would be pretty fun to watch.

their brain is naturally thinking that white players could not participate this kinda event.......not being racism here against the african americans but i think NBA is discriminating white people here.......

and for love, being snubbed again, i guess Love laughs at the NBA right now
why does the stupid NBA want everyone to believe that there's no such team named Minnesota Timberwolves in this league?????/

coz i just double checked, among all the confirmed events including saturday's shows and the rookie game, the Minnesota Timberwolves are proudly the only team that does not have a representative player to participate any of the event in all star weekend

this sucks

I don't think anyone from the Wizards, Bucks, Jazz, Kings, Bobcats, and Warriors were asked to come out and play. Or am I missing an event? There is the Dunk contest, 3pt shoot out, skills challenge, rook/soph game, and all star game.

I just saw that the Thunder have 3 (in words: THREE!!!) players in the Rookie/Sophomore game. not that I want to take anything away from Westbrook, Green and Durant but come on...

Not to add insult to injury but the ESPN front page of the NBA section right now is David Thorpe's Fab Four rookies (tied for the top of the league, in his opinion) - Lopez, Rose, Mayo, and Westbrook.

Love is #5 (with a higher PER and better rebounding rate in fewer minutes than any of them.

Pbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbt.

Durant just said on TNT that he has not practiced any shots for HORSE.. I hope that Johnson and Mayo have thought of some Interesting stuff.

Love should have defanitly been in the HORSE game. He is the king of the trick shot.
