I don't have very high expectations for Shell the Don. I'm more excited to see what B.Brown can do. I think this trade is about as significant as Green for Snyder.

One of the reasons that Ben Wallace was unsuccessful early on is that teams were trying to play him as a wing player, a 2 or a 3. Since he can't dribble or shoot, that didn't work out so well despite his athleticism. But it does show how badly a player can be miscast even at a professional level and placed on the right team dramatically improve as he is used properly.

Finrod Lossëhelin (http://www.chriswetherell.com/elf/) will be a decent defensive presence for limited minutes but I still wish he was about 6 inches taller.

*I like that, I'm gonna call him Finrod from now on*

just stick with Landlord and save yourself the embarrassment of having to come back on your hands and knees begging for forgiveness after he's putting up like 15/8 right off the bat

I find it hard to believe any coach, at any level let alone the professional level, would ever try to play ben wallace as anything but a 4 or a 5. Sorry, it would never happen.

Careful kids... Devilz was right about Love. Maybe he's got a thing for predicting the success of slightly undersized, wide-bodied post guys.

Oliver Miller is the best player I've ever seen.

Yeah, but Finrod is no Oliver Miller. The Big Cinnamon Roll would eat Finrod for lunch (literally).

Good to know that I turned this thread into a spelling bee competition. Rashard McCants and Sheldon Williams would be prowd.

The Boston Celtics have invited him to a summer league. He plays well, but they keep using him as a small forward. They have him running around on the perimeter. It's not his thing. He wants to play inside. But he doesn't complain. He doesn't talk much, period.

Congrats on talking out of your ass.
