Garnett may be out four weeks

BOS pick = lottery

Seriously though, this could be an issue because they could lose home court advantage to the Cavs. This makes CLE's failure to turn those expirings into talent even more severe.

We'll know more when they complete all the exams.

unprotected pick...ouch. Ironic that both Al and KG could have messed up knees.

Boston is like 44-12, even if they completely fall off the pick probably doesn't get lower than 25.

Cleavland, Denver, Orlando, and San Antonio are really the only teams that could conceivably pass Boston in the standings imo. Along with LAL, that would drop the pick to 25. The next three teams all have injuries (NO, Portland, Houston). Dallas, Atlanta, Utah, Phoenix passing Boston? I don't see it.

Pick or not, I'm still cheering for KG to take the chip.

They can still win the chip by squeaking in as an 8 seed. Everybody wins.

They still have a couple pretty decent players so I don't think they will fall that far.

What's up with all the injuries this year anyway?

Andres Biedrens/Chris Kaman/Andrew Bynum/Tyson Chandler/Greg Oden
Kevin Garnett/ Chris Bosh/Al Jefferson/Amare Stoudemire/Carlos Boozer/Elton Brand
Danny Granger
Michael Redd/Manu Ginobli/Tracy McGrady
Jameer Nelson/Gilbert Arenas

That's some big names and most are knee injuries. It will be interesting to see if there are any rules or equipment changes next year. Owner's can't be happy about this situation when many are suffering financially to begin with.

So we're going to end up with the 1st pick, the 15th, and the 16th. I like it.

Chicago's going to get the 3rd pick in the lottery and we're going to trade Mike Miller + 16th for Kirk Hinrich and the 3rd pick. Chicago gets a great big guard who can knock down the open shots that Derrick Rose will provie, plus they clear a ton of future cap space. Just go with me on this.

So we draft Rubio, Thabeet, and Summers.

C - Thabeet/Love
PF - Jefferson/Smith
SF - Gomes/Summers
SG - Foye/Brewer
PG - Hinrich/Rubio

Keep in mind Love will blow out his knee.

RAWR!

meh, KG winning the championship last year was probably my favorite moment as a fan; I don't think i'll have that same feeling as I did last year.

Plus, my money is either on Cleveland or LA

KG still needs a finals MVP trophy to complete his set. I'm pulling for Boston this year still.
