Just finished watching him for the first time (for a whole game, that is). I'm not all that impressed. He had pretty good post moves, but in this game he had his shot blocked like 2 or 3 times. Defensively he looked pretty slow and unathletic.

oh, my bad. I assumed Pekovic since the previous couple of posts were about Pekovic.

I like Pekovic, but I am thinking that he is worth the most to us a trade piece. I just hope we do the right things with the limited assets we have. Which involves faith in Jim Stack. I think I am going to have a drink.

Totally OT- I don't care tho this is an interesting topic.

Position: Blazers------------------Sonics-----------------Wolves

PG ???? . Westbrook . Foye (IMO)

SG Roy . Durant . ????

SF Outlaw . Green . Miller

PF LMA . ????? . Love

C Oden . ???????? . Jefferson

Anyone?
Port: Rudy, Batum, Bayless, Pryz.

MN: Gomes, Brew, Cookie, Bassy.

OKC: Thabo? Nenad?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OKC has the best core as far as a big three imo. Wolves and Blazers have by far deeper teams. Blazers have the most talent. Wolves have the most tools to make themselves better in the future.

Blazers will add a couple pieces: PG? SF?. Need a lot more athleticism. Denver exposed them as non-athletic.

Sonics need: Quantity instead of quality. Need a big man of ANY kind.

Wolves need: More talent and more solid core. Need a shooting SG and SF. We need our superstar guard, cause you can't win without one. Foye isn't a superstar, but he's a solid person and his ego aint too huge.

Big men: Wolves win, because Jefferson is by far the best in the group. Love has proved way more than Oden, and I think Love is for sure better than LMA.

Gaurds: Sonics have this by far. Durant IS a SG and Green IS a SF. Westbrook IS a beast.

Blazers have: The most experience. Head start on everyone as far as re-build. Contending, sorta, now.

Big difference also is that the blazers have a stable front office, an owner willing to spend and an above avg coach. OKC has a good front office, but lacks the owner and coach. MN has a good owner, but unproven front office and coach.

yes, Nate McMillan is a very very good coach. I wonder what is harder to find a great player or a great coach...sigh. We need one of both.
