LOL everybody knows I have love for our boy Foye, but those Raptors fans are acting like he's mini-Lebron or something. A handful of wolves fans would do Foye for Calderon in a heartbeat.

Calderon would be nice, but I wouldn't give up Foye for him. We'd never get Bosh or Bargs without sending a lot of our youth away. I like our core of Al, Love and Foye too much.

I think that's fair. Calderon is probably worth more to TOR and their fans than he is to MIN with his long 2013 contract. Foye's worth more than Marion to the Wolves because Marion would never stick around here, and his age doesn't fit. I wouldn't have given Foye for Bargnani the first two years, but Barg's been amazing this year. Bosh is a much better player, but expensive and he'd never stay here either.

I don't really see a possible deal. Foye's > TOR pick (8-15), and MIN is already loaded with picks, and TOR can't add value by taking a bad MIN contract, because MIN doesn't have any. Pick and an unprotected future pick is the closest I can get, unless Bosh next summer suddenly decides he'd love to sign an extension with MIN, and MIN adds talent to Foye on their side.

Rofl john2jer...If I would of known that smiley existed... I would have used it agajabillion times by now.

Toronto is simply not a great trading partner for us.

I am open to trading Foye for a true PG or package him to get an ELITE wing player. The only thing stoping Foye from being that elite wing is consistency. I am tired of seeing a 26 pt night followed by an 4 for 18 9 point night.

I think Foye, as an undersized player, will always be inconsistent, since his success depends more on match ups then the average player.

If we drafted Harden I would definitely consider a Bargnani for Foye trade.

I managed to see the Wolves and Raptors in preseason and had never seen Foye play before. I was very impressed and liked his game a lot.

I find that with every team the Raps play. A guy shas a good game and the "fantasy jockeys" start making trade ideas for said.

Minny has a plan, good young players and a good coach in McHale. Not sure if Kevin is the coach next year, but nonetheless, the Wolves are positioned well for future success. Hope they have it.

I think that because of the Roy/Foye trade MN fans will never appreciate Foye for what he is.

I'm all too famillair with wolves fans who hate on Foye because of Roy. People are just so upset about Roy that when they look at Foye they only see his failings and have trouble focusing on what he does bring to the table. The way I see it, best case scenario Foye becomes a great NBA combo guard. Worst case scenario Foye becomes a very valuable sixth man. I think that being in that position is a good thing. Yea we may have missed out on a superstar SG and that's not good but at least we have a piece moving forward. This isn't an Ndudi Ebi, Rashad McCants or even Marko Jaric situation.

Who wouldn't want Randy Foye? I think every single team in the league would love to have Randy Foye on their team. He's a good kid, young, can get to the hole, can hit the three, has some PG tools so you can use him in a combo spot, lots to like about him. It's just about the price they're willing to pay to get him lol.

This year, definitely. Long term depends more on who his backcourt mate is (I can't imagine it will be Telfair forever). He could still end up at PG if we end up with a 2 that can handle the ball a little bit and/or take some of the scoring pressure off of him. I don't think that the verdict's in on whether or not he ends up at PG. If you look at the numbers, Foye's pretty close to where Billups was at a similar stage in his career. In terms of PG numbers, like AST%, TOV%, STL%, USG%, Foye's very similar. The main differences come in their eFG% and TS%, where Billups has a leg up on Foye.
"A while back,'' Cardinal said, "I took a picture of the standings and texted it to Love, just to bust his chops,'' Cardinal said. "He sent me a picture back of a snowdrift.''

That's an interesting read... to the naked eye Foye does the "shooting guard" things well and the "point guard" things poorly. I wonder how much his "point guard" numbers look better now that he doesn't handle the ball all the time?

I would consider a Bargnani for Foye deal. Young bigs who can shoot don't grow on trees... I'm not sure Bargnani will ever be a franchise guy worth the 1st pick in a draft, but if he turned out to be an Ilguaskas or Rik Smits type that would fit well next to Big Al and Love.
