DLeague guys to look at

Post#1 » by big3_8_19_21 » Sat Mar 7, 2009 10:45 pm

Courtney Sims - he's been brought up a number of times and was called up briefly by Phoenix...I think he played 2 minutes on his 10 day contract, but he's back in the dleague now.
22.4 ppg
10.8 rpg
2.1 bpg
59.8% FG
75.3% FT

James White - Superior athleticism, DX says he has improved his mid range game and finishing in a variety of ways around the rim and could be a lock down defender off the bench, but he has poor body language.
25.9 ppg
5.0 rpg
54.9% FG
36.8% 3FG
84.6% FT

John Lucas III - has only played 4 games this year, I don't know what he was doing before that
19.8 ppg
5.5 apg
48.5% FG
50.0% 3FG
100% FT

Trey Johnson - a 6'6" swingman averaging almost 5 assists per game
20.1 ppg
4.8 apg
45.7% FG
46.2% 3FG

Blake Ahearn - I think most of us know what he's about at this point. He's played for 2 dleague teams this season and since they don't compile the stats for both teams for season averages and I don't want to do it myself, I'll give you Ahearn's averages for 27 games with the Dakota Wizards
23.6 ppg
5.8 apg
44.7% FG
42.5% 3FG
95.7% FT

I would REALLY like to get Sims for next season. Low risk/high reward is how I see it. James White sound like he would probably end up being like a moodier Rodney Carney...except he might not play scared **** all the time.

James White is awesome, but he's a rocket now.
Zach Randolph>Frye. Kevin Durant > Oden. Random guy off street> Pritchard.

or we could just continue to give minutes to

Love/Williams/Gomes/Foye/Smith/Brown/Bassy/Carney

and act like a try-out development rather than bringing in a guy who would just take their minutes. We need love/Gomes/Foye/bassy to improve and Smith/williams/Brown/Carney are getting a try out.

I meant this summer...I suppose I should have specified.
