I was hoping they'd sign him to play the rest of the season.

If McHale doesn't want to continue coaching...this is our guy. It makes sense on multiple levels. Minnesota native, played here for 10 years and has lead a suspect team to the playoffs.

Scared me for a second. I thought this was signing him to the staff, which means he could be a replacement HC down the line. Screw that.

Mitchell is an awful coach. The Raptors were circling the drain until the GM ordered Mitchell to start playing Bargnani, all of a sudden the team goes on a run and Mitchell gets all the credit.
Zach Randolph>Frye. Kevin Durant > Oden. Random guy off street> Pritchard.

They should amend the NBA by-laws that if your team gets down by 25 on a night honoring a former player, then you can give him a uniform and he can play some minutes.

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
