I think we should position ourselves to draft these two players. I just want to know some opinions on it. I also posted this on the College Players Thread.

Im liking Derozan right now. Hes really gotten alot better as the season went on and finally playing how we all thought we would all along. so athletic and so much potential. God knows we could definitly use his athleticism on our team. I definitly see Derozan wowing teams in workouts and all the predraft stuff to raise his stock even more.
Assuming Griffin Rubio Thabeet and ill just say Harden although after Hardens not so good tournament im not sure I would take him over Derozan. I dont expect Harden to wow poeple in predraft stuff like i do Derozan as well.
6. Demar Derozan- SG/SF
17. Tyreke Evans- PG
27. Jerome Jordan- C

Evans goes higher than 17
I would like to drop the pick on Aldrich
I like the thought of a 3 headed monster in Love/Al/Aldrich, all good character guys, hard workers who play to win.
I don't think there is really a standout PG in this draft outside of Rubio, and I think he will be off the board before we pick. I would look at maybe a Maynor/Collison/Lawson with the other mid 1st for a flyer on filling out the PG spot, I think all of those guys are solid value at around 17-20

6 is a little high for both of them
but
at 17 they both will be gone
-to get them we would somehow turn 6 and 17 into 9 and 10 or 10 and 11

Harden is the next Brandon Roy...I am calling right now. Roy was said to be good at everthing but a master at nothing. He was said to be not athletic enough...yadayadayada. Harden has a very similar game. He did have a weak tournament, but he is also only 19. Roy went all 4 years and his best was as a Senior.
That being said, If Aldrich comes out, he should be available at 6 and he is the guy I want right now. I know we really need wings, but this guy is a strong defensive center and would compliment our love and jefferson very well. It would be tough to pass up. I would see if we could package the other 3 picks to move up further to get Evans or Derozan. I still sense some Gerald Green when I watch Derozan though...Evans looks like he could be great. A taller version of Foye with more PG capabilities.
Like i have said earlier, I would deal Foye for another wing.

I really hate to move the discussion away from the draft thread, If the next Brandon Roy is in this draft, his name is Gerald Henderson.

Henderson doesn't get to the free throw line as much as I'd like and his shooting percentages are little low if you consider his circumstances but I guess he's in the conversation.

Problem is, someone has to go 6. 6 seems high for everyone.

If you're referring to the underrated because he was an upperclassman aspect of Brandon Roy, I see where you're coming from. If you're talking about style of play, then the best candidate in this draft for "next Brandon Roy" is probably Evan Turner.

How tall is Henderson though, really. I'm starting to think he's 6'4" with shoes.

This is the problem. After Griffin and Rubio, if he's in the draft, it's a huge crapshoot. I was hoping that 5 or 6 players would separate themselves but it hasn't happened. I'm not a big Harden guy. He's not the athlete that Roy is (40 in vert, etc.) nor as long as Roy is. Everything I've read says that when they actually measure him he'll be about 6'4" or so unless he wear KLove's 1.75 inch shoes.
I have no idea who I'd want at 6. I still crossing my fingers and hoping Rubio enters and we get a top two pick (however, that philosophy has never worked in past drafts for me

).
