I think he is just testing the water to see where he will end up... I really hope Rubio comes out, but i am skeptical.

I wish Craig Brackins wasn't on the Likely to Enter list. If he goes there is really no reason for me to get tickets for next season. We'll just straight blow. Even with my bias I think he should stay for another year. If he shows similar improvement to what he did between his freshman and sophomore years along with adding some bulk he should be a top 10 pick next year.

are you saying that in reference to Iowa State tickets?

Good deal, the more the merrier means that the Wolves have the most options.

Hopefully Evan Turner changes his mind and declares

YES!!!! I like Jrue Holiday so much. If we cannot get Rubio I would like him. Not a savior, but a good piece.

Wow, I know Holiday really struggled down the stretch but that article says he's a late first rounder or second rounder and is severely overrated. If we could get him with the Utah or Boston pick I might shed a tear of happiness.

I'm surprised Jrue isn't going back to school, but he's going to climb into at least the middle of the first round do to workouts+potential, probably to the Wolves no-man's-land between 6 and 18.

A solid Soph season could've probably placed him in the top 5ish next year. Whoever he's got whispering in his ear cost him $4-8million over the life of his rookie contract.

notice that the article is nbadraft.net hardly quality writing.

yeah, I know, it was just on their front page...hence the easiest to find.

I'm editing the OP to include the ESPN who's in/out for (at the very least) a cross-reference

Chad Ford seems pretty sure that Rubio is going to declare. Interesting.

Hard to imagine a player sitting out a draft where he's guaranteed to go top 2.

draft takes too long, we've already been talking about it for months and there's still 3 months more to go

I just want Evans, they can waste all the rest of their picks on Holiday for all I care, just get Evans.

Evans and Holiday would make an interesting back court.

Ironic that playoffs are considered a burden for us.

Yes and Yes! That would be a bigger back court than we are used to, fairly athletic as well.

As for the Irony, I laughed out loud.

It's funny 'cause it's true... It is also sad because it is true...

P.S. If Devilz is making a fuss over Evans, that probably means the Wolves will end up with him. This is last year's draft with Kevin Love all over again. Sigh.

I really hope Rubio declares. If we could get Holiday with the Miami pick I would be quite satisfied.

I'd love a three man guard rotation of Holiday, Foye, and Evans for the long term. With Brewer bouncing between the 2 and 3, Miller/Cookie traded for a dominant 3 on a bad deal, like Deng or Jefferson.

C - Jefferson(34)/Jordan(14)
PF - Love(32)/Jefferson(2)/Gomes(14)
SF - Deng(30)/Gomes(6)/Brewer(12)
SG - Foye(28)/Holiday(4)/Brewer(16)
PG - Evans(28)/Holiday(16)/Foye(4)

With Cardinal, Madsen, and Brown picking up DNP-CD all season long.

Brewer better really be working on that shot then, otherwise that's the worst shooting set of perimeter players in the entire virgo supercluster.
