Our best bet is to combine pieces for a big piece. At the same time a 3/1 or 2/1 creates more roster spot.

I disagree that Watson is hardly better than Bassy. I do agree that just swapping Miller/Watson is bad. I wasn't trying to make a detailed trade. The point is to free up more money ($3,280,957 in that trade). I am sure the Thunder have future picks they could throw in. I was just trying to give an example of a way to keep Carney and be able to give him some minutes.

Part of me strongly wishes Carney would stay. I like the idea of Gomes/Carney at the SF spot. At the least it is not a weakspot. Brewer and Miller/Foye at the 2 spot.

Lots of guys for limited minutes. Is Carney going to improve? Is Brewer a 2 or 3? Is Foye a 1 or 2? Where is bassy? What about a rookie?

More proof we need a trade to combine some of these pieces.

Rev, I love me some Brewer too. I defintiely think he's an important part of our future as our Kobe, LeBron, DWade, Jordan, Big O stopper. Plus he's crazy smart and makes the extra pass. If only he can continue to improve his shooting. Oh and eat a friggin cheeseburger. He needs to go to GNC and buy some weight gainer.

I think Brewer has decent potential as a defensive player, but I don't think he's athletic in any particularly unique way. Seems like a normal NBA athlete.
