Shelden Williams

I hope we can find a way to keep him. I would much rather have him than Smith. However, I think he is the Kirk Snyder of this year's team.

I agree 100%. Others love Smith and might not think the same.

I don't get the troll comment.

Did Klomp just get called a troll?

Williams is not a bad 4th/5th big to have. Better fit than Smith. But like Carney is likely wont be here next year.

14/11 tonight off 50% shooting. I agree that he's a much better fit than Smith.

I could care less about Williams vs. Smith as the 4th big man. Bigger fish to fry.

How cheap could we sign him for? Keep in mind that Craig is making 2.3M next yr.

Him and Carney both.

Williams would not be bad for a 4th or 5th big.

He "could" be something, but seriously just let him go...

Would you guys rather keep Williams or Carney?

I'd say Carney, though Williams fills more of a need.

Carney.

Like it was said in an different thread, he's Gerald Green with a brain (paraphrase).

I would caution against getting excited about anyone's play this time of year. I remember a few years ago the hype Justin Reed was getting as the team's future starting small forward. 2 years later, he can't find his way out of the D-League. This is the time when the younger players start getting more minutes and the teams out of the playoff race start to look at guys for next year. The level of competition usually goes down as a result. Not saying I wouldn't try and sign Williams as a 5th big for the minimum, but just be cautious about anything these guys do at the end of the year.

If we dont find a way to upgrade over Williams through one of our multiple picks or through trade then i suppose keeping him around wouldnt upset me. I like the kid and he is a better fit than Smith but like Deeney said, this is not a priority by any means this coming off season

hard to see what Williams has when he only gets minutes in the most meaningless situations possible, Wolves seem pretty intent on not bringing him back

When you're losing minutes to Jason Collins, you're in trouble.
