MN/NO

It's kind of like the MN/Mil trade; but I think that this one gets us more value

Dallas Stack for MM
-They get an upgrade
NO A. Daniels, J. Wright, NO 1st for Stack
-They save money by cutting stack (smarter move than dumping chandler)
MN MM for A. Daniels, Wright, NO 1st
-we get a pick in the low 20's (could package a couple of picks and move up), a young guy with lots of potential in wright (he would have just turned 22 and has looked good in some of his spot minutes that he's played), and a vet starting PG for next season in Daniels.

I like this. I'm not as sold on the Wolves trading for a vet PG as many others are (and who have made very good points), but AD qualifies in my book. I think trading Miller for Stackhouse is an increase in value. so I'm in favor of that part, and I agree that the Hornets will bend over backwards for cap space. I think its a good move, but I wonder if we could get Stackhouse, whether we could get a higher-upside guy from an equally cash-strapped team like MIL or WAS? If not, I'd certainly consider this

AD would have been nice a couple years ago. This trade means we'd have 15 guys with guaranteed contracts next year, meaning we couldn't sign our 2nd round picks even if we wanted to, and no option to use the MLE without cutting someone. We'd HAVE to package picks.
