Trade checker isn't working for me right now but I was considering a deal based around the following.
MN IN: Curry, Ridnour, NYK & MIL 1st
MN OUT: MM, Cardinal, (maybe bassy + cookie)
NYK IN: Cardinal, cookie?
NYK OUT: Curry, pick
DAL IN: MM
DAL OUT: Stack, Williams
MIL IN: Stack
MIL OUT: Ridnour, pick, (other fill to drop more salary)
Salaries are probably off a bit and could use some tweaking, but my thinking is this looks to be a pretty solid way to get several picks in the top 10. Other MIL deals have one of Redd or Jefferson outbound, but I think a healthy MIL team could do some damage next season. This allows them to reign CV & sessions and keep redd/rj/bogut and a Fairly solid lineup 1-5.
For MN I think this could work. MN will have some minutes in the front court available early in the season with Al out. Perhaps curry could raise his value enough to swap for a better fitting player. As I remember there was some Curry interest from CHA this season. Maybe something midseason...
Curry + x for Wallace + x? I'm not sure fatty can ever return real value, but he can't return any less. Currys deal hurts in 2010 but doesn't kill all our capspace.
The real deal here is that MN ends up with 3 picks in the top 10. It could be a field day to restock.
if mn picks at #3 Thabeet + Evans + Derozan + (mullens with MIA)
if mn picks at #2 Rubio + Evans + Derozan + (mullens with MIA)
if MN picks at #1 Griffin + Evans + Derozan + (mullens with MIA)
if MN picks at #6 Harden + Evans + Derozan + (mullens with MIA)
MN NYK MIL DAL

Re: MN NYK MIL DAL
This leaves us with 7 or 8 draft picks this year...what are we going to do with them? Forfeit? We would have to send way more players out than we receive...
Don't think it's good to bring in Curry either...
I'd consider this deal if this years draft was considered to be very good...but as it is not I would not do that...
if mn picks at #3 Thabeet + Evans + Derozan + (mullens with MIA) 2 C and 2 SG's???
if mn picks at #2 Rubio + Evans + Derozan + (mullens with MIA) 2 SG's???
if MN picks at #1 Griffin + Evans + Derozan + (mullens with MIA) 2 SG's?????
if MN picks at #6 Harden + Evans + Derozan + (mullens with MIA) 3 SG's????
Sorry, your draft selections are ridiculous.
If we draft at #6 (which is most likely) we'd draft 3 Shooting Guards and have Foye still on our roster...what are you gonna do with two of them? Send them running through Minnesota to sell tickets?
I'd much rather trade all our picks and some trade assets for just two players like Rubio and Aminu/Thabeet(if we think he can be a productive nba player what I don't think right now) than restocking our team with 2 or 3 players who play the same position...

Re: MN NYK MIL DAL
I think the thought was Evans as a PG.
There's a lot of players that intrigue me this year for various reasons, but that is a lot of draft picks. That said if that can be used to facilitate some other deals, which more than likely would have to be done, it's an interesting thought. Curry isn't really desirable though.

Re: MN NYK MIL DAL
I like where your head is at, but like what foye said, we would have to do some other trades to consolidate. The thing with Curry on this team is that he would only be effective as Big Al's back up. Just like in NY when it was Randolph and Curry, the two could not play together as they would both clog up the lane (not that we take it to the hoop that often). We ideally need a guy like Turiaf, Chandler, Blatche, McGee, Dalembert, etc. Athletic, Tall and can face up in the high post. Love has said he is dedicated to losing weight and getting more athletic over the summer...but we should hedge.
If we did get those picks (and didn't win the lottery) my ideal draft would be Evans, Clark, Lawson
Derozan upside on draft express is Gerald Green and dowside is Carney...yikes.
Jefferson / Curry / Mullens
Love / Clark
Brewer / Gomes / Clark
Foye / Evans
Lawson / Foye / Brown
Telfair and Gomes would be available for trades as well.

Re: MN NYK MIL DAL
My thought on Curry is that Al will be gone a huge chunk of the season, and maybe could increase his value.
If he can play minutes next season and moved before the deadline great.
If he can play minutes next season and cant be moved at the deadline, he's an expiring next season.
If he can't do anything MN at least gets a pick out of the deal.
As for the selections and all playing the same position....Ill take the most extreme....
if MN picks at #6 Harden + Evans + Derozan + (mullens with MIA) 3 SG's????
Harden as a 2
Derozan as a 3/2
Evans as a 1/2
As for existing guards\wings and the fitting in...
Derozan\Gomes\Brewer
Brewer\harden\Foye
Evans\Foye\xxx
Don't forget beginning next season we get to see the same wolves team we have seen the past 2 months. Al won't be 100% next season. We might as well take some chances next season.

Re: MN NYK MIL DAL
I love it, except for the NYK part. I can't imagine that NYK's late lotto pick will be worth eating $11.3 mil in Curry's salary in 2010-11.
