If we got lucky enough to draft Rubio and then traded for Hinrich and played Rubio behind him, I think I would lose all faith in the T-Wolves and quit watching NBA ball altogether.

being that he is a 19 yr old euro pg it would be understandable if he is in a mentorship role for a couple months. Hinrich is perfect for that.

So you wouldn't mind trading away 10 million dollars worth of cap space for a guy who would be a mentor for a few months and a small minute backup for 3 years after that?

I think a back-up pg that would be a leader and the 3rd wheel of a backcourt rotation is a good thing to have. Not a "must have" but a nice thing. With rubio, of course, he would not start for long. If we drafted a Jennings/Holiday/Evans/Maynor type then he would likely start all year.
