Last game of the season

Post#1 » by Shox214 » Wed Apr 15, 2009 7:25 pm

I'm going to the game tonight. The wolves sent me an email offering me free lower level seats, I only had to pay a $1.50 charge. It's senior night for the Wolves with a starting line-up of Kevin Ollie, Mike Miller, Mark Madsen, Brian Cardinal and Jason Collins.

If Mad Dog improves upon his 0-7 three point shooting game from last year, he'll have the target center dancing.

Now I suppose its possible this could be the last game of the career for Ollie or Collins, but there is no need to give the fan a "Seniors Night" with four players that only joined the Wolves this season.

I really do hope we don't win this game, but I do not want the players to deliberately tank. I don't know if the lottery is rigged by Stern or not, but this hurts any goodwill we gained by competing these last few weeks.

LMAO @ that pick. I'm devastated. I wanted to go to one of the last games this year but I have class tonight. On top of that I probably wont be able to see the game because of class. This is just as bad as it gets. I don't even get to say goodbye to my pups. It's going to be hell having to wait until October again, last year was a pain. I know that in like 2 weeks, I'm already going to want to see the wolves again. Would have been great to end it at the TC tonight. I'm hoping to get an e-mail saying class is canceled or something.

McCants is going to drop 30 btw.

What a pathetic line up to put out in front of the home crowd.

Wish I didn't have to listen to the Kings' commentators.

Why aren't we starting our best team? I don't understand, we should be playing to win.

Interesting, Foye said he'd take Thabeet with the #1 pick to take the pressure off of Al. He mentioned Griffin, but immediately said "he looks K-Luv's size"

I wonder if the player's get frustrated with Love's non defense when it comes to protecting the rim.

Foye wanted to take a big last year too. Of course he doesn't want a backcourt player to compete with him.

Foye sounds like suuuch a douche. I'm pretty much D-Wade, I played him one-on-one for ONE game.....and we still lost.

I worked out with Doug West one time and it was really hard...so I didn't go back...DEEERRRRR Ya cause who likes hard work?...not I!

Then he made a dumb comment about how much $ he makes...I am losing confidence in this kid.

Devilz, I think Randy is just making excuses for Al to not play defense.

At least Memphis won. That helps our chances a little bit.

most NBA players think highly of themselves though, I don't hold that against Foye. I'd be kind of disappointed if he fancied himself as role player material.

I'll give him half credit on that, its probably tough as a perimeter defender knowing you can't lay your hands on the offensive player these days, and it must be doubly tough lacking shotblockers on the team to back you up. But at the same time, if it was Rondo, Battier, and Prince out there defending the perimeter, would we look equally inept stopping opposing perimeter players? Probably not.
