I like Rose a lot, but at 31.1 he travels bad. Drags his foot and plants the second.

LeBron James is an animal. 22/6/4 at halftime.

My thoughts on each Series
Western Conference #1 vs. #8: Los Angeles Lakers vs. Utah Jazz
While Utah is underrated some, they have not been able to win on the road. Bynum and Gasol will go crazy against Boozer and Okur. Could easily be a sweep.
Western Conference #2 vs. #7: Denver Nuggets vs. New Orleans Hornets
One of the most intriguing matchups in the playoffs. Personally, I believe Denver is the most underrated team in the playoffs. However, you can never count out a Chris Paul-led team. Still though, I think Denver will win this series in five games.
Western Conference #3 vs. #6: San Antonio Spurs vs. Dallas Mavericks
This is the series I'm least interested in throughout the entire first round. I've never been a huge fan of either team. The Spurs' style is boring (especially without Ginobili), and I still think Nowitzki is overrated. I'm not sure who'll win this series, and, quite frankly, I don't care either. I just hope it doesn't go 7.
Western Conference #4 vs. #5: Portland Trail Blazers vs. Houston Rockets
I'm a big fan of this Portland team. I think they bring a toughness that Houston doesn't have. Portland will win this in 5, maybe 6.
Eastern Conference #1 vs. #8: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Detroit Pistons
What we witnessed today will be the theme for the rest of the series. Detroit will be lucky to win one game.
Eastern Conference #2 vs. #7: Orlando Magic vs. Philadelphia 76ers
I think Philadelphia may win a game or two, but Orlando is just way too good. Samuel Dalembert has little to no chance of guarding Dwight Howard effectively.
Eastern Conference #3 vs. #6: Boston Celtics vs. Chicago Bulls
Many people were surprised with the outcome of today's game. I was not. We all know how important Kevin Garnett is to a team's chances, especially in the playoffs. Celtic fans found that out today. Without the Big Ticket, these teams are pretty similar. Both led by dynamic young point guards, both have good wing scorers, and both have question marks of if their posts can be depended on offensively. I would not be surprised with a Bulls series win. Either way, I think it's a 6 game series.
Eastern Conference #4 vs. #5: Atlanta Hawks vs. Miami Heat
Any team with Dwyane Wade is a legitimate contender in the playoffs. However, that's all the Heat have going for them. He can win them two games, but that's about it. Atlanta is another one of the most underrated teams in the playoffs. Atlanta in 6.
Jumping ahead to the Conference finals, I believe it will be Cleveland over Orlando in 5. In the West, my upset pick is Denver over the Lakers. Call it a hunch, but I do think it will be LeBron vs. Carmelo in the NBA Finals, with the Cavaliers winning the title and LeBron James winning the Bill Russell NBA Finals Most Valuable Player Award.

Portland really could use Al Jefferson right now. Yao has his foot down their throats.

Wow, looks like I was a little off on that series. Oden sucks. Lets trade Mike Miller for him.

Omg I'm watching Houston Portland now on chinese tv in a repetition...
they really got completely destroyed...come on 74-49 in the 3rd quarter

LaMarcus Aldridge took lots of wide jumpers although he did hit only 1 or 2 of them...
Seems like houston is finally ready to get out of the first round

JVG just lost respect. Said our Collin's twin is one of the best help defenders at the center position in the league.

He wasn't trying here. Nobody waste energy for the Timberwolves.

I know u mean it as a half joke, but that is a concern of mine. After playing college, and coaching high school, I know that effort and chemistry are very important. We lack that, how do we get it? WHat kind of change can be made to bring that about? There are so many problems that go away if we hustled on help defense.

atlanta has been catching them in transistion. usually long rebounds from missed jumpers. Smith has been finishing either from lobs or just crazy dunks from these transistion baskets.
Not saying he will ever get there, but remember draftexpress has Brewer's best case as Josh Smith and Worst case as trevor Ariza. I would be very good with that.

Someone should've taken Smith, it looks like.
