I can buy Gordon being ahead of Love. Especially since his numbers are on par with Mayo's. After Rose, I think you can rank all the rookies on the list down to Beasley about the same right now.

How did Robin Lopez get a vote? It's unclear whether it was a 2nd or 3rd place vote, but it's a vote nonetheless.

I'm not really offended, this was a superstar class.

Where they ranked him, I can't be mad at that.

Guess someone thought Robin is playing in New Jersey and Brook in Phoenix ^^ :P

I am glad, hopefully he uses it as motivation.

Or he feels slighted, get's really depressed because "no one loves him", then starts huffing spray paint and develops an addiction to prescription pain killers, drops out of the league, starts dating really skanky girls that his mother wouldn't approve of, and finally tops it all off with a tattoo, "Born to be Love, Dying cause I'm not"

“I guess I just needed to play a little better,” Love said. “Maybe a 30th double-double would have made a difference.”

You can't really argue with the ranking though. Gordon had some huge 30+ games, and started most of the season. I wouldn't change much in that list.

they all had good rookie seasons, I wouldn't argue it too much either. If K lo wants to set himself apart, then start representing UCLA defense inside. Kareem Abdul Jabbar is spinning in his grave after some of those possessions chauffering guys to easy layups.

exactly. He is a good player, but hardly perfect.

I see that Kevin agrees with me.

"Pardon my French, but it's the second time I've gotten screwed," Love told the Pioneer Press. "I definitely thought I would finish higher, but after the rookie-sophomore snub, I guess anything can happen."

Love led rookies in rebounding and double-doubles, but five players still finished above him in the voting.

"I guess I just needed to play a little better," Love said. "Maybe a 30th double-double would have made a difference.

" ... I'll take care of my business this summer, either here in Los Angeles or in Minnesota, and come back a better player and try to help my team win. Hopefully, 15 years from now I'll be able to look back on this and laugh."

I love the fire he's showing!

Love is a good player. But if he wants to be great he needs to suck it up and act like a man.

Missing playoffs=Meh
Missing perosnal achievment=*Crying*

That has to change.

1) You can't argue with that list

2)Why does he care about being 5th in ROY voting? Maybe if it was 2nd I guess it would mean something

The amount of hate that Love's getting on the general board for his statements is pretty amusing.

I'm really not a fan of people who think they're better than they are. Shut up Kevin, I'm trying to like you.
