In a round about way he admitted stepping in as undesized center #2 and getting burnt Jermaine and every other bigger center out there. Most were the lollipop type questions.
I was hoping to hear about the party throw after Twitt was let go....

They also had a chat with Craigers. He said he would like us to take Thabeet if we got the #1 and Foye was the best PG he has played with. Probably meant it as most talented player as opposed to best true PG.
Mike Conley also had a chat where he thinks we are one of a few young teams that will make the jump to fighting for a playoff spot next year.

Why do they all want Thabeet????? He's crap!
Then again, last year around this time Al (i think it was Al) said he wanted us to draft Deandre Jordan.

Maybe they all want our best player to play where he's comfortable playing. It's painfully obvious we need someone to protect the basket.

I hope we draft Thabeet, he winds up being awesome, and he finds a way to dunk on your Dr. K.

Craig Smith and Chuck Heyes are like the only 6'7" F/C's in the NBA, i don't think this will happen very often. Playing against 6'6" centers in college is a bit different than playing 7' in the NBA. I did that same thing to people in highschool. being a 6'2" center against guys 6'6"-7' as soon as they jump you can just slide under them into their thighs and over they go, you usually draw a foul on that to boot.

I wouldn't be entirely opposed to Thabeet either actually, he's in my top 5, but I can't see taking him over Evans or Harden
I don't think he'll suck, I think at the very least he'll be one of the top 5 shotblockers in the NBA

From Draftexpress's last write up on Thabeet--
"The most evident thing to come out of this game was how much Thabeet dislikes contact around the basket. He was knocked to the floor a good 12-15 times by the much more physical (yet extremely undersized) Spartans, and looked extremely frustrated in turn. His extreme lack of balance has never looked more obvious, as he looked about as clumsy as he has since his freshman year with the amount of time he spent laying on the ground.
A huge key to this game for Michigan State was the way they were able crash the offensive glass (to the tune of 16 offensive rebounds) despite their lack of size and athleticism, and Thabeet was clearly a big factor in this. He was easily boxed out by the likes of Delvon Roe, Goran Suton and Raymar Morgan all night long, being constantly bumped out of position, and only coming up with 3 defensive rebounds in 36 minutes in turn. His inability to go outside his area and come away with loose balls really hurt his team tonight, and it really seemed like he lacked some focus here, even being hit in the face by a potential defensive rebound on one occasion."

Call it man-love but...
Hibbert>Thabeast
My boy hibbert got 7 and 3.5 with 1.1 blk in 14 minutes. Double that to the 28min center role we want with Al and Love and you have a 14, 7, 2.2blk

^^It's man love....but I'd rather have Hibbert and then take Evans rather than us taking Thabeet. I think Thabeet could be really good in the nba IF he can fix the wussy factor. Get muscle, get mean, get an attitude(no one scores in the lane) and we can talk but I'd still rather have one of Evans, Derozan, Harden, or Rubio if possible.
Oh, and back on topic..Kevin Love DID get screwed in ROY voting. Sounds like he's motivated though so this could be a positive.
