The seasons not over yet

We still have Pekovic in the Euroleague Final 4 to look forward to

Only hitting few minor bumps along the road, Panathinaikos was able to get through the EL fairly unscathed. The combination of size, athleticism, experience and outside shooting gives them as good of a chance to win it all as anyone else.

Sarunas Jasikevicius, Mike Batiste, Dimitrios Diamantidis, Vassilis Spanoulis and Drew Nicholas are all extremely important pieces to Coach Zeljko Obradovic’s puzzle. While they may not have the necessary tools to make an impact at the NBA level, these guys are all proven talents who are moulded to fit the Euro style that Obradovic preaches.

Nikola Pekovic is a 2nd round pick of the Minnesota Timberwolves and has had an extremely efficient and effective season in the EL. In just over 18 minutes per game, he averaged 13 points and 4 rebounds, while shooting 64% from the field. He may lack the explosiveness of a prototypical NBA 4 man, but with his strength and touch around the basket, he might have a chance to crack a roster in the near future.

damn it. I could have had the opportunity to watch him as the final 4 will be played roughly 30 minutes away from my apartment but a) it was freaking expensive to get tickets (even for the upper-level ones underneath the roof) and b) I'm going to spontaneously visit my best friend over the weekend. I really hope she's aware that I could easily have replaced her for some basketball. she better make me some great food and stuff :D

Turn on the game, make that food patrami, and then bring on the "stuff" all at the same time and you have the George Costanza trifecta.

Ugh, this forum seems to derail once the season is over.

I actually know of this movie. There was a lawsuit over whether the special effects was an exclusive license or not.

Which for us would have been in feb? What should we talk about? We have more draft discussion here than the draft board. Once the lotto has been done we will have another flux of draft talk. Once we have a new Gm we will have more topics also.

Am I the only one puzzled about the closing sentence of that article?

"Might" have a chance to crack an NBA roster.

I thought he was one of the top bigs in Europe?

It's from NBAdraft.net...they have Wayne Ellington going no. 11 in this year's draft. Pay no attention to their opinions.

He is. No idea what they mean at it. I am curious where the article came from because people who seem to know Pekovic say he is a pure 5, not a 4.
