One Week from Today

Post#1 » by TheFranchise21 » Tue May 12, 2009 6:58 am

We will know where we select in the lottery. We have to get lucky at least once right? Right?

1. No.

2. Is luck really involved anyway?

This is our year. It's already been written.

I don't want luck in this draft. Each and every one of these guys is hit or miss after Griffin.

We could end up picking the best player in the draft at 5, but hey, if god wants us to get Rubio, then who the hell am I to say anything?

We should send K-love and Craig Smith. They could then indicate through subtle hints that if we don't get the #1 or #2 pick it's going down! Lucky for me I won't have to get overly nervous for this becuase I'll be completely off the radar in wild wisconsin the day of the lottery. Boy it would be nice if we could get a top 2 pick but it's not likely so I'm preparing for Evans at #5. There's always hope and anything IS possible soo...let's just win this.

Does the Wolves "Pay the Pick" deal run after the lottery?

If we got the #1 pick, could you go over the next day and buy the $1 tickets?

I've already cleared my calendar for that night, and the next couple days after to help deal with the heartbreak of being pushed back to #8.

Perhaps you don't remember the rookie/soph game, the ROY voting, and the all-rookie teams. Kevlar=screw-job

David Stern is getting pretty old; maybe he'll forget to move us down in the lottery?

A good sign that you're going to have a crappy birthday.

those were democratic voting processes, and the public are idiots. This one is all about Love's telekinetic powers. The proof is in the pudding. Or at least it will be in the pudding come lottery time. The pudding that's not yet made, but the recipe is complete and the ingredients are readily available.

Nuff said

I think I might have to stay away from all lottery related television and web sites until the following day so I can enjoy my day.
