Fred Newman can become the best NBA shooter ever. Don't believe me? He holds the Guiness book record of 209 3 pointers in a row! With him on board, double teaming Al Jefferson will prove to be the biggest mistake a team can make.

Friend of mine in high school could sit and drain threes all day long. Before school and in gym he'd shoot, and I swear I've seen him drop 30-40 in a row. He'd hit at like 90% of his threes. Problem was he was lazy and couldn't run from one end of the court to the other without dying of exhaustion, so he never played high school ball.

Same goes for me with soccer.

I swear I would be sooo good at this game if I could only motivate myself to improve my condition...

I never played enough bball too judge whether I could be successful in basketball but when I play I'm actually doing ok...I hit most open shots from midrange/3pt. line although never actually working on my shot...my handles are terrible because I never trained fundamentals like bouncing with 2 balls but I guess

So why did he even train shooting threes if he could not run from one end to the other? I would not shoot early in the morning if there is nothing you train for... ^^

This video actually looks like it is just repeating the same shot again and again....

For my friend it was just something to do in the morning before class started. And if you watch anyone shoot around, especially non-basketball players, most of the shots they take are 3's.

I like how when he finally misses he just scratches his head. Sign him up!

so, I think we'd have to pair him with someone a little more athletic, maybe Evans since he can't shoot the three.

Evans-Maynor
Newman-Foye
Miller-Brewer
Love-Cookie
Al-Shelden

In HS, I could make free throw shots easy (underhanded unfortunately). I would be happy if I could hit the three. I even participated in a few free throw competitions. Problem is that was all I could do. I was just a high school version of Mark Madsen who could make free throw. I never tried out just because I don't think I could deal with pressure and I probably would get sore being a bench warmer, so I opted for wrestling instead. Oh, and I didn't want to be remembered as the one who shot underhanded.

He would be a complement for Mike Miller because MM doesn't shoot, can you imagine this guy waiting beyond the arc. I can already feel the opponents heart sink when he screams I'm open.

I think that the real-life Air Bud is basketball's best kept secret. People think that was a cute family film, but it was actually a biopic.
